A10. So much faster than the manual that it was hard to pass up.

I wonder who is the dumbass that thought a rubberband can be used as transmission like a toy car? Should be shot!!
Some guy named Van Doorne. Though his cars (1960's DAF) pretty much were toy cars. Maybe a fair amount of blame today should be owned by Carlos Ghosn. Carlos may not end up being shot, but he is in trouble . . .

Somehow I doubt that any fewer MT WRXs and STis would be sold if an MT was the only way they came.

Manual. I love the A10 but I have ADD so it's perfect for me, always have something to do.
Plus it feels badass. Also better for track days.

Wasn’t Ghosn CEO of Nissan/Renault? Oh I still wish I had my 71 Datsun 240Z, loved driving that car with that straight 6 OHC engine with triple Mikuni carbs. Tranny wasn’t bad either.

Yup. Formerly, as official statements describe it. Although he may have saved Nissan, I still blame him for ruining the Maxima by making it CVT-only partway into its 6th generation.

i've heard of this issue but not entirely sure of the symptoms or cause of it. hopefully it's just my inexperience driving and not an issue with the car. when i do my first oil change i plan on upgrading fluid, line, spring and the shifter. i'm not having any issues getting it into gear or anything.
I haven't had any of the lockout issues in either of my transmissions (first one blew at 5k miles - forks and synchros in 2nd gear). I have taken it to the strip too.

The only issue I ever had was the pedal getting mushy and that was from the stock line getting hot. So I upgraded to the Steeda braided line.

I’m almost 73 and yes a bad knee, but I went with the manual in my PP ‘Stang. Figured it may be the last kick at the can!
Oh- the bad knee is on the right leg!!!
God has truly blessed you :)

My experience was almost opposite. Last year March I ordered a '18 GT Premium 401A w/10r80. I had just sold my beautiful '03 GT 5 speed due to advancing knee problems causing co-ordination shifting issues. I went to two different dealers here in Cleveland, Ohio area and no auto GT's were to be found. I and my knees don't regret the purchase but I still miss my stick. My wife is still not comfortable with the new one but loved driving the '03, she has even taught two of our friends wives to drive a stick.

A10. When I want to stick shift, I'll drive my 86 SVO that I've had for 30yrs now.

2015 Roush RS3 with a manual. It's not a daily driver or I might have looked at an auto. In any event, I enjoy the connnection driving a stick gives me to the car and it is a pleasent change of pace from my daily driver Lexus. As long as my health and finances allow it I will always try to have at least one car with a stick and glad at this point that it can be a fast Mustang!

I bought an auto because of long daily commutes in traffic. During those commutes I am happy with that decision. When I'm not in slow traffic I wish I had the manual. :)

It is a simple choice really...Do you want to ride in the car? Or, do you want to DRIVE the car?
Right, because if the car has an automatic transmission you just jump in, turn it on and somehow arrive at your destination a while later while you just chill in the back seat reading a book.
