Damn. Mik's been helpful twice now and I've just been making jokes the whole time.
lol only kidding I've read helpful advice from ya at least 3 times probably.
This whole discussion is kinda stupid. The guy hasn't driven both. You really need to go drive both before launching the entire forum into another Eb v.s. GT thread. Do your end of the work and test drive both. If you are still confused, start a thread. If you can afford it, get the GT...
I used to track my 16 Ecoboost. You NEED to upgrade the intercooler, brake fluid, have an extra set of pads, and good tires. It handles very well and is no slouch. My GT is ultimately faster but the weight distribution on the Eco is better. Bc its an inline 4 the weight is very centralized, but...
Few days back I was minding my own on the highway. 370z Nismo and a new RS3 are coming up fast in the rearview. I thought to myself, leave it be, Im tired. BUT THEN! my foot did this thing all on it's own and the clutch was now in, AND THEN! my hand smacks the stick into 3rd, please no im tired...
Wow, Two threads opened in one morning asking the same question on the same page. Nobody is robbing you silly. If you wanta go F1 it's likely just gonna cost ya 8-9k all in. Also, you should likely do your half shafts if you're gonna go big power. Best of luck.
I love my manual, but somedays I wish I had the A10 just bc of how much faster it is.
I ran against an A10 2019 GT the other day and when I got to the light he rolled down the window and asked "manual?" and I was like "yep" he replied "lucky" and we both laughed. The grass is always greener...
If you want a decent hp boost and already have a pro tune, get headers, and finish your exhaust. run datalogs to your tuner and get it refitted. 20-35hp gain with a 40lbs weight lose. IIRC back seat delete only takes off 65lbs?
you'll feel that for sure. best of luck
Yeah I was gonna say those lower grill flanges look just like the 2019/2020 Camaro, which is the ugliest car ever made. If it looks anything like the rendering, Hard pass.
