Bought my 15 RS3 used. One part of the build sheet was there (the part with all the numbers) but not the word-printed sheet. In any event, the Roush addendum sticker was there but not the Ford sticker. I ordered the latter from the "Ford Show parts" site and have it framed on the wall of my...
Thanks to the OP for posting about this problem. I haven't noticed any water in the trunk of my 15 RS3 but also haven't done any checking around the suspect areas for seam cracking. Mine is garage-kept but as a 2nd owner not sure how the first owner housed it. I will do so at my next...
I had the same problem with financing when I purchased my 15 RS3 a year ago. Forrtunately my trade value dropped the price of the car to the point where the financing went through. Not sure what other options you would have other then to get the price down to where financers will consider doing...
I bit the bullet and spent the $500 on the AA spare a few weeks ago. There is a BAP in the spare wheel well that I am not yet motivated enough to try to move so the spare does take up trunk space. However because I live in a rural area and drive at least an hour to any and all car meets having...
As the happy owner of a 15 RS3 with the phase 2 package and as others have suggested I would go with the Roush package until the warranty runs out and then upgrade the tune to your liking if need be. I would look for a certified Roush dealer to do the installation.
Received the AA tire today. Not a bad turnaround to order it on Sunday and get it on Tuesday! It will certainly provide some piece of mind especially on longer road trips.
I finally broke down and ordered the AA complete kit spare yesterday. I am going on a 6 hour mountain cruise May 24th (weather permitting) and wanted to get the spare in time (hopefully no shipping delays). I do hope the group buy goes through for those still interested in this purchase. I plan...
Count me in on a group buy if we can go that route! On another note, my 15 RS3 has the phase 2 package with a BAP mounted in the spare tire well. Obviously this would have to be relocated if I get the AA kit (group buy or not). Has anyone else had to relocate their BAP from the well and if you...
Checked the console panels on my 15 GT Premium. Both are plastic. Maybe the stitched leather was on later models? In any event, as long as they both match I am good.
I traded an 07 Roush 427R (450 HP) in on a 15 Roush RS3 (727 HP) and must say the 15 far outperforms the 07 in most every category (comfort, technology, etc). No regrets here even buying both used. Of course your Jeep and the stang are two different vehicles so it depends on your current desires.
Not as bad a screw-up as on the OP's dash but I remember in 1983 when looking to buy a new T-Bird or Couger the T-Bird on the showroom floor had all Cougar nameplates! I ended up with a T-Bird (with the right nameplates).
2015 Roush RS3 with a manual. It's not a daily driver or I might have looked at an auto. In any event, I enjoy the connnection driving a stick gives me to the car and it is a pleasent change of pace from my daily driver Lexus. As long as my health and finances allow it I will always try to have...
The Roush tune are notoriously conservative in order to keep warranty situation under control and contribute to long-term reliability. Your car is no longer under warranty so going with another company's tune (VMP, Brenspeed, etc) will certainly get you more power. That being said, my 15 RS3 has...
