I will say because my Mustang is my DD, when I drive something else with an automatic, I try to put my left foot down only to realize there's nothing to do, and then I get nervous when I start it that it'll lurch because I don't have the clutch in.
I've driven manuals almost exclusively for 20 years. I bought my 2018 GT in auto because it is simply much faster and is really the only auto I've driven that I actually like and track/drag modes are actually fun. To me, I wasn't a fan of the MT-82 in my 2012 GT. On S550 Mustangs the clutch pedal just feels way too light also, almost like a wet sponge. I prefer a heavier and more mechanical feel to my clutch.
Edit: The only thing I DON'T like is the slow reaction from my shift paddles, especially on down shifts. But I just leave it in auto because the shift logic is almost psychic
