  1. DWS06 In Massachusetts winter for a majority daily driven car

Not knowing exactly what kind of driving your doing but Ive been running winter/ summer sets on my previous '03 GT and my current '18 GT and have never had that kind of issues. I live in northern Ohio and we get plenty of dry days and even occasional days into the 50's especially beginning and...
  2. Cold weather tires for my boosted setup - 700+ hp

Your going to need performance all season or winter tires all around. In below 40F your fronts are not going to have much grip either for turning or braking. As others have posted no matter what kind of all season or winter tire its not going grip as well as the summer tires, even with stock...
  3. Sport 4 S. Cold temps, normal driving ?

I'm on my second set of PS4s and drive my '18 year round in northern Ohio snow belt so I do have experience. I have been winter/summer sets since my last '03 Mustang. The PS4s as well as any summer performance tire starts to lose grip below 50F, when you get down to 40F they get darn slick...
  4. Anyone run winter Michelin 255/40/R19's on all 4 corners with PP1 wheels?

Although not a direct answer to your question I have a bit of advise coming from over 50 years of winter driving in the snow with my Mustangs. The wider the tire the less traction your going to have in snow due to the fact the tire will ride up on the snow instead of the tread biting into it...
  5. FordPass app won't sync

I may have misspoke but we are saying the same thing, if either his vehicle or his cell phone are not communicating properly with the local cell service it wont work.
  6. FordPass app won't sync

Check your cell service, both vehicle and cell phone need to be on same service
  7. Directional Wheel Question

Although its not something that I concern myself with, if it bothers you that much your only solution is to find a uni pattern such as a five spoke wheel that is visually the same no matter which side.
  8. The Classic 10 Speed Reliability Question

I love my 18, the only issues I've had are intermittent rough upshift from 2-3 in sport mode at less then 50% throttle and the intermittent slight upshift hang 2-3 and 4-5 when the trans is cold.
  9. I am not going to get the Ford Protect (ESP). Am I crazy?

I never buy an extended warranty. Factory 3/36 b-b and 5/60K powertrain warranty are enough. I put roughly the amount that a extended warranty would cost in the bank for a rainy day and am way ahead.
  10. Jacking Rails that do not interfere or block Pinch rails..

I have the BMR slim jacking rails on my '18 and they do not interfere the pinch rail, as a matter of fact I have had two road flats and used the spare kit. No problems.
  11. i can’t be the only one who runs regular in a GT right?

I some times have to laugh at both sides of this debate, both have good points although some are a stretch. When I got my '18 GT I ran a series of street tests going thru 3-4 tankfuls of 87, then 3-4 tankfuls of 93. I ignored the first tankful of each series to make sure everything was cleaned...
  12. So a stock GT350/GT350R is too loud for Florida? Wtf?

Sucks, but: 1) Your exhaust is not stock, you changed a oem component 2) Ford explicity states that the wide open setting is for Track Use Bottom line is you may be able to beat the "loud" ticket if they don't have a level componant, but the parts change might get you.
  13. i can’t be the only one who runs regular in a GT right?

As I stated in my previous post and the bottom line. Per Ford, its designed and engineered for 87 but the management system can take advantage of higher octane, up to 93, for increased power. There is very little difference in fuel within a grade, the difference is in the additive packages...
  14. i can’t be the only one who runs regular in a GT right?

There seems to be a lot of mis-conception and mis-understanding in a lot of posts. The issue of regular vs premium really only applies to n/a and untuned vehichles. TRUE: 1) The factory setup and tune of the 5.0 is for regular gas, its stated in numerous places. The engine management system...
  15. I love the mustang…but…

Well actually I did read it completely, You said, "...bought it a month ago", so in reality the problems were there from the beginning. I only mentioned my experience, my '18 GT 401A Premium was purchase in May, '18 and has 32+K miles on it. I live in northern Ohio snow belt and drive daily...
  16. Tire question for anyone driving their car in colder weather.

I've been driving my Mustangs daily year round since 1970 in northern Ohio snow belt. On my '69 I actually ran bias ply winter performance tires, (not full rated snow tires), during winter. On my previous '03 and my current "18 I run summer and winter tire/wheel sets. Depending on where on...
  17. I love the mustang…but…

Bottom line I continue spending my money because I order the car the way I want it and I inspect it fully when it arrives. Anything I find either they fix it, order a new one, or I walk. No need for buy back talk or complaints later.
  18. i can’t be the only one who runs regular in a GT right?

I agree with you 100%. I have used regular TopTier rated gas in my "03 GT and currently in my '18 GT with no problems at all. When I bought my '18 I did a weeks long comparison using regular and premium, the end result was that 90+% of the time the "Seat of the Pants" difference was negligible...
  19. I hate the Pirelli P Zero Summer Only tires...

Michelin A/S3+ or A/S 4 All Season Any performance summer tire is not designed to be driven at under 40F, they can be down right dangerous
