:confused:How do these threads go on for 200 posts but I try to post a positive mustang thread about the GT350r winning the R&T performance car of the year and a mod shuts that down after 8 replies???

I was able to drive a mustang with the clutch assist spring out last week and boy does it make a difference. I went from hating the clutch to enjoying it quickly.

It's gets really tiresome when you have a Performance Pack with .373 gearing in city traffic. Trust me.
Daily my 3.73 PP car (hour commute each way in stop and go as well as city traffic every night) and not once have i said man i miss the 3.55s from my 14 or man i wish I would've gotten an auto. Not saying you're lying, but it's just another subjective personal preference thing. (maybe it's that I'm 24....idk lol) OP just needs to drive the damn cars and make a decision based on which one HE likes best. I know several people that drive manual cars every day in shitty traffic by choice. All depends on how bad you want it and what rowing gears does for you.

Cant you just use 2nd and 4th? You don't have to shift from 1st to 6th and back down again like a sequential gearbox.
Yes, I often use 1-3-5 around town and it helps a lot. But still gets tiring in traffic, and I'm getting old. haha

3.55 to 3.73 is really not a night and day difference and some wont even notice the difference tbh.

Manual driving just becomes a 2nd nature after a while. Traffic is fun if you have good exhaust tone to back it up lol.

It's a sports car.

Why would anyone want an auto in a sports car?

Nothing better then bangin' the gears and chirpin' the tires.
I guess that's why Porsche no longer offers a manual in the 911 GT3.
