yes, dogs also... it's a mustang, not a limited edition koenigsegg... just take care of the car and clean it.
Ohhh.....no one said anything about dogs. Mine is in the car all the time. I nice pull scares her sometimes though. :giggle:

Figured gym. Probably the biggest pro to working out in my garage is not having to pull the car in till after I shower and cool off.
Is your garage air cooled? I'm not sure how it is by you but I'd die if I worked out in this 100° 80% humidity weather I've been having.

Nope super hot in there too but I like to sweat when I workout. Tons of water and don't over do it. I also mainly do kickboxing on my 180lbs. bag and set my bicycle on a trainer and spin. I have resistance bands too but use them less and less as I stick to the fun stuff like beating the crap out of the bag. Also therapeutic.

It's a mustang not a Ferrari, of course
I'll eat in my car.

It's just a car, and I have a vacuum 👍
I agree, it's just a car...
And I take any trash out whenever I get out. I hate a messy/dirty car but that doesn't preclude eating in it, or taking the dog around or worrying about dirty feet, etc.
It will clean up...

I think the most anal I am is when I go on a business trip I take a pic of the odometer. Wife can't/wont drive it and I trust her, but some of her friends...

Does eating next to the car count? Sometimes I'll eat lunch in my garage while looking at the car.

OK, this has to be a joke, right?

It was before my time so guessed/asked. Funny that TV shows and movies portray it one way and if they're wrong, I wouldn't know. It's not like they cover how anal people were about car paint in history books and in movies they seemed not to care when the tray was set on their door with the side window rolled down.
I believe most people were more anal about their cars back then. Modern cars have no where near the maintenance requirements and extensive use of plastics, galvanized steel and aluminum reduce corrosion by a lot. You really had to work hard to get your car to last 50k miles. Now, that's not even considered high mileage. It was common to see many poeple out washing and waxing their cars on weekends. Now, I can't remember the last time I saw anyone wash their car.

But it's funny, nobody gave a second thought to having that tray hanging on their window or rubbing on the paint.

Sadly nope. I really do take odometer pics when I go on any trips even if the wife stays home. I take odometer pics if I drop a car off for maintenance I can't do myself too. And I sometimes do eat lunch on a weekend just looking at my clean amazing car.

I wash mine every weekend as well as clean out the interior. The wheels get super cleaned off the car when I swap the winters and summers out.

Someone that wasn't me? Just my friend...who owns a 16 GT that looks like it rolled off the showroom yesterday.

Related note, the Chemical Guys soap with wax is awesome.
Been meaning to try them out. Been using Griot's Garage.
