Pulled it of the 5 month hibernation last week, finally had some decent enough weather to wash/wax. Of course it's supposed to pour here for the next couple days, more upcoming garage time.
It needs a bath badly, but I don't think our MI weather is going to cooperate for a few weeks yet, still good to have it out of the 5 month hibernation
I don't even drive it in the rain, no chance I'm beating it up through any type of midwest winter.
To be honest I don't enjoy driving it under 50 degrees, it's my summer fun toy. I look forward to removing it from storage, big boys don't get that present opening feeling very often, and I...
Welp, had the oil changed and tires rotated yesterday and put it away today for a long winters nap. Meant to grab a pic of it covered and tucked away, but was rushed unhooking the battery and putting moth balls on the tires and completely forgot. 5,400 miles after 18 months of ownership...
Parents divorced when I was a kid, and my dad moved to Arlington Heights, so I've always been a Bears fan as well as Lions. Walter Payton was my hero, and also lived in Arlington Heights at the time, my dad knew his neighbor and got me autographs when I would visit.
The only sports role model...
Middle Linebacker for the Lions, and in my spare time I manage a website for GM.
Edit: my wife is in M,P&L (Materials, planning and logistics) for Ford, she earns more than I do.
Will the rarity of our color make it more valuable?
I live 2 miles from Flat Rock, the most populated Mustang area in the world, and have never seen another EG, also discontinued after 2 years.
Have seen plenty of Broncos, not a single Mustang, I get asked every time I take t out if it's a...
Your car is so shiny the ceiling popcorn looks like a paint defect.
Edit: Nice car though, I'd prefer the sleeper as I'm not a fan of decals, but you can always remove them if you get tired of the look.
I used to have a lot of faith in semi drivers, but it seemed like when mass labor layoffs started happening in our area 15-20 years ago, truck driving school became the de facto career of choice for many as it was a quick way to a paycheck.
Knowing a couple of the people who went that route, I...
Same here, put the toy away, disconnect the battery, put moth ball bags on each tire, cover and unwrap in April.
It's like a big boy Christmas every spring.
I live about 2 minutes from Flat Rock, buy our cars from the dealer there, and have observed groups of '24s being moved somewhere in the last month. They aren't ugly by any stretch, but the front nose is camaro-like, and the rear deck is different. I may be able to take a liking to it, but the...
Can't go wrong with body color (as WD said) or black, I'm more of a blacked out guy, but either way would look nice.
I wouldn't go with any red though, should be a body match.
I'm not a big fan of convertibles, but that is a nice ride, that color works very well with the black accent package. Just paint those calipers black and throw on some black lugs and it's complete.
Quit being so literal, the dumpster will be here for 2 days while they demo, then I can get it out of the garage.
Did you think they leave a dumpster in front of your house for the full 2 weeks? LOL
