Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I will be purchasing a new 2021 antimatter blue soon, had a 2019 velocity blue PP.

I was wondering, is anyone like me and for the first few months, I don't let anyone eat inside my new cars until I "break it in."

Just wanted to know what everyone else did. Are some religious about no food EVER; or do you eat McDonalds inside the first day your purchase.

PS. will be posting pics soon once I get mine delivered :)
Nope never.no foods or drink are eaten or drank. In any of my cars.except water

I am not usually protective of food in my cars. However I've found that the GT350 demands the driver's attention between the quick steering, manual transmission and alcantara steering wheel so it really isn't conducive to mindless snacks and sticky fingers.

We just finished a 5800 mile two week road trip and yes we ate, drank and even farted more then once :explode:
this might be the key to the answers given…

…those of us that eat in the car probably either commute, daily, or even just road trip consistently and not eating is not an option.

Depends, are you wearing pants when you do this?
Careful what you answer. If you say "no", the next question is "do you have pics?" Ask me how I know.

As a rule, I don't take selfies without pants.

My wife always has to take a water bottle with her, even to drive to a store. If I pick up a takeout order, like a pizza or something, I put it in the trunk; just because it's more convenient and the floor is flat.

This topic reminds me of the drive-in restaurants with car hops, that everyone went to in the 50s and 60s, where they put the food tray on the driver's window. There is still one of those places around here... still has car hops, too. We went there a year or two ago, kind of a nostalgia thing. I can't see why we ever thought this was so great 60 years ago.
