I'll take the long way to work in the morning, the long way to the dealership and hot rod the car a bit. I'll top the car off with 93, flash the stock tune in after filling it and hope for the best.
I re-flashed the flex tune in, put the tuner in a sack in the glove box with a note explaining it's tuned, Lund's contact info and my name and phone number for questions. I also wrote on the outside of the sack, in plain view when you open the glove box, containing the tuner not to remove it...
Meh, it's not that important. I'll just leave a note in the bag with the tuner in the glove box. The new owner can contact Lund if necessary. I'm not really wanting to tell the dealer it's tuned before trading it in.
It is. Completely different sound with the SwitchFire. I had an h pipe initially. Sounded terrible....high pitched and raspy as all get out. With the SwitchFire the tone is nice and deep with zero drone nor rasp. Best of both worlds. This is with the OE active exhaust on my GT. Borla did their...
I have developed a professional relationship with Finish Line Performance/Beefcake Racing in Milford. They do excellent work. I was quoted $1700 parts/labor plus tax. Of course I will have to add in $150 for the updates tune from Lund.
The gears are going in my '20 GT 6 speed. Discussed with the installer. They asked for my Lund ticket number so they could get an updated tune from them to accompany the gear change. Anything else to look out for?
