Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I will be purchasing a new 2021 antimatter blue soon, had a 2019 velocity blue PP.

I was wondering, is anyone like me and for the first few months, I don't let anyone eat inside my new cars.

Just wanted to know what everyone else did. Are some religious about no food EVER; or do you eat McDonalds inside the first day your purchase.

PS. will be posting pics soon once I get mine delivered :)

I don't. I don't even eat in my van which is just for Home Depot and dump runs. It isn't a cleanliness thing. It's just that I did field service for decades and had to eat on the run all the time. I like to pretend that I'm not a savage anymore, so I eat at a table.

I enjoy my cars, I enjoy eating, I get to do both at the same time!
Coming home from the dealership with a new car, stopped by to get the kids a milkshake to celebrate and enjoy the new car, as soon as my son got in the back he spilled the whole milkshake, no big deal just cleaned it up, and now 20 years later my Marine son knows his Dad cares more about him than any car!

Never in the Mustang.

Even in the DD, it's rare. Only stuff that can't get goo on a seat or carpet and make a mess.

These threads give me anxiety about it even. No food ever...maybe groceries on the rare occasion but I generally don't leave my car in parking lots other than work if I can avoid it. It's not even a good "date" car because I have to sit at a window where I can see it. The wife used to complain when I had a GT500 till she saw people all over the car to take pictures and I had to run out to "get off my lawn" some folks. I keep saying my next car is going to be an unpainted tank of some sort so I won't worry or care about these things anymore.

Welp I have a base V6 with fabric interior. I use it as an excuse for not eating and not allowing anyone to eat inside the car... However, I do smoke cigarrettes with windows down and AC off.

Sometimes. Not as often as I have in previous cars but thats mainly because I don't eat drive thru as much.
