I'm surprised your car even started with 11 V. how are you checking the voltage. I would be using a reliable meter at the batty. it should be about 12.7 v when sitting. Good luck.

I dont know what the deal is.I thought that all batteries were sealed and maint. free for over 30 yrs. I have a '13 GT-500,'14 Juke and '15 Mustang GT. I was very surprised to find they all are like batteries from a time warp.They all need to be checked and water added as necessary.

I had '12 SS,it was not a good car.I traded it for my '15 GT,it's a better and faster car by a lot.I did get a good trade in value for the SS but it had very low mileage and looked much better than new.

Mothers Back To Black should take it off. You might also try crappy silicone based tire dressing.Spray it on a cloth and wipe it on.It sucks on tires but works good on the black finish on Harley motors. The heat may help with the greasy feel. Try it,it wont hurt anything and should work.

When you wash the car, keep squirting the front as you wash but clean it last. By the time you start on it the critters will have softened up and should wipe right off. I loved going to the Field museum on school trips in the dark ages.
