No, that's absolutely not some universal truth.

Better for some people? Sure, no argument there. None at all.

You know where you stand on your transmission choice and I know where I stand on mine.

Yes, I was being sarcastic and agree A is better for some people and M is better for others. I really debated when I got mine, and ended up going automatic and loving it for the last 3 years. However, there are times I really miss shifting the gears, and am now leaning toward trading in for an '18 with a stick.

Actually I got to test drive the '18 Auto and '18 Manual, both with PP today. I gotta say, I was really expecting more with the Auto. While the car obviously has a bit more power, I found the transmission to be searching for the right gear on several occasions and it actually sounded a bit like a CVT at times. I actually prefer my 6-speed Auto to the 10-speed. That pretty much solidified that I will be going stick when I do trade in. It was so much easier to shift and so much less "notchy" than the '15 I test drove 3 years ago. :clap2:
