I just swapped back my front struts to the stock PP struts. Had the track struts and I will tell you that the drop is considerably more than an inch. Not quite sure how or what people measure as the drop, but wheel well height from the ground was close to a 3 inch difference. Get ready to hit every parking block and scrape your jacking rails over a lot of speed bumps.

Biggest reason I swapped them though was the tire wear. Yes, I had an alignment after installing them. Still wore the insides pretty good after about 20K miles. You can notably tell the difference in the angle of the hub between your stock and track struts. Stock will be sitting nearly straight up and down, while they will be angled up/INBD with the track pack struts. Full transparency, the track pack struts definitely offered a much more responsive and solid cornering experience and they definitely felt great in a corner. But considering I drive 50 miles a day, I have really enjoyed not getting my kidneys beat up on every bump in the road with the PP struts.

All a trade off. I left all the rest of the track stuff on except the struts but its been too long to really compare whether it is any improvement over what the PP offered. I would definitely recommend the camber plates. I will go that route next time if I get the itch to close the wheel well gap again.

Just installed the FP Track Handling Pack this winter and the drop is like 1''++ front and 3/4'' rear. With no camber bolts or plates, the front camber sits at -1.6 on both sides which is correct. Got installed front PP1 links and steeda G-trac lite as well.
It drives like a go-kart now , with some tramlining though (my tires are old which must not help at all). As soon as you're not on shitty roads (like me in Québec :( ) the ride is smooth and not too harsh. I would say like a BMW M.

Could you post some pictures of how the stance of the car looks?

After playing with suspension setups, I’ve decided to swap to the Ford Performance Track Handling Pack.

Currently I have ordered,
The track handling pack (PN: MFR3AM8A)
The fastener kit (PN: MFR3FASTENA)
MOOG Front Endlinks (PN: K750798)
MOOG Rear Endlinks (PN: K750744)

Do I need anything else for this kit for install to go smoothly?
I’m assuming I don’t need the sway bar bushing kit (PN: M-5490-BKD) as they come with new bushings already.
I’m assuming I don’t need the Ford Performance camber plates as it’s only a 1 inch drop.
Anything you guys can think of please let me know because I’m tired of spending money and just want to do this once :crying:
I've got Ford Track shocks and struts with Steeda linear springs. It was a big improvement but what really woke this car up was a set of Cup2's. I'm not worrying about mileage on the tires as the car gets limited use. Car shows and autocross.

My car only dropped .875" up front and just under .75" in the rear with the FP Track Kit. I have to admit, I do somewhat miss my Mustang.

It is a lovely looking car.

Coming from the standard suspension on the base to the ford kit has been night and day in terms of how the car feels and acts. Im happy with the decision I made regarding it.

You guys are getting me excited, and most importantly helping me ignore the gouge in my wallet… 😂

I saw another post with a link to camber bolts. I too swapped my camber plates for camber bolts. Just let the shop know you have them. Otherwise they may not perform a got adjustment.

I have found not all camber plates are easy to adjust. And depending on where you live , not many shops will or know how to adjust them.

Yeah its all about planning stuff out and for me how long I want to wait. I originally order through jegs as they showed a ship in 3 day estimate. After a 2 weeks of chatting with them and pushing the date I canceled. Ended up buying the kit through steeda as they had one left in stock. Only paid maybe 150$ more then the jegs price. I didnt want to wait an undisclosed amount of time.

Ive seen the kits as low as 1300$ on clearance to 2500$. I absolutely hate waiting for things I've paid for. I'm happy I grabbed it though. 2 or 3 years time the whipple wait is most likely going to drive me up a wall.

I’m the same way honestly lol, I’m hoping it comes rather soon because on Ford’s website they said pickup was June 3rd. All 3rd party sites it was currently out of stock so we’ll see… I wonder if they make these to order or that they’re just this popular?

Honestly I wish you the best of luck on recieving the kit. I got quotes (jegs) 3 days , all the way up to 21 weeks (that was being hopeful from the suppliers). That's when I pulled the trigger and contacted every store available. Steeda was the only one who had a kit left and it took 3 days to arrive. Worth the small extra cost to me.

I had been in contact with levittown parts about items, also the track kit, and found out my local dealerships parts department, if they don't have something in stock can get it shipped free to them for me. Mind you this was at exactly the same price as levittownfordparts.com.

I didn't ask about the track kit as I assumed it was a special order item, but i guess it wouldn't hurt to contact them to see about the kit ( at your local dealer). I was very suprised that the local dealership was offering the same price as levittownfordparts.com minus a shipping cost for parts i ordered. So it really also makes me wonder why certain dealerships are offering this "lower price" when my local dealership can do the same minus the shipping cost. Just my 2 cents of input.

I’ll certainly keep you guys updated and I appreciate the luck. I’d just like to receive it sometime this summer ideally, if it begins to cut into fall that’s when I’ll start getting upset, luckily for the first time I have a daily I can use so the cars just sitting in the garage.
