All these are great. I have the Steeda rails and put the jack stands near the front and rear. Sort of where the bolts are. If you look at all the photos, they shows the floor jack behind the mirror to the center to keep the weight centered. Lift one side then the other. If you need more height...
Sound like an issue I had. I had to disconnect the battery from the car, and put a charger/tender on it for a while. Once it had enough charge, I hooked the it back up and had to charge it over night.
Its about three years old. I noticed the negative terminal had corrosion. I cleaned it and...
I have used Power Stop pads and rotors on several cars from a hot hatches to performance sedans. The rotors are great but I never liked the pads. So I used Hawk HPS 5.0 to replace my Mustang PP1 OEM pads. They generate less dust that stock but more than ceramic. A good compromise. They make no...
IF you want one that you can remove, Sto n sho has one that mounts using two cent screws behind chin spoiler and has a quick release to remove. You can find it on the Steeda website. If your lowered, then just be careful with the curb stops in the parking lot.
You are correct. I stand corrected. It does change the signal at the injector. Ether way. It does allow for real-time change that will allow you to put any 91/93 octane gas or E85 regardless of the tune.
Have you thought about a ProFlex Commander. I have heard good things about it, and It goes inline to detect the level of ethanol in the fuel automatically. It tells the computers so it can make the required adjustments. Same idea of the GM flex fuel sensor. IT will allow you to use E85, gas or...
Sorry for the confusion. I understood but wanted to add be cause not everyone is at that level. That's forums are for.
It was not trying to say anything against your post, but swinging back to the original question in this thread, that someone asking about running lower octane fuel. Plus other...
Octane itself does not make horsepower. But when lower octane fuel is used, the computers will retard the timing to reduce detonation. Performance will be compromised as a result. Since the Coyote engine has such high compression, I would be more concerned with possible damage from knock and...
Put in a bottle of 104+. You'll notice a difference in few minutes. It allows computer to advance timing and better throttle mapping. Knowing this, I think it is better to have it if you mash the peddle one in a while.
Have you had problems with your transmission? If you don't, then you won't. It doesn't happen in all the transmissions, but it will always happen in the few who have problems. They have made several revisions to the transmission since the beginning. The problem is becoming less of an issue but...
I have a manual transmission and use sport and track all the time. I have Magneride so I only turn it off when the roads get crappy.
I recommend turning off the Rev Matching, them see how you like it.
I know a few people who have absolutely no issues with the transmission. But if you do, then it sucks. I have issues from 2nd to 3rd and back. It is, for the lack aof a better term...crunchy. This is not the normal "notchy shifting, but actual gear mess issues. I have tried to minimize the...
If you are looking for lowering, Ford motorsport springs will give you a .7 inch drop. I think that is the same spring they used on the PP2 track pack cars. Camber plates work but will add NVH to the car. And unless you have the tools to do adjustments yourself, it may be difficult to find a...
