Just a quick side bar..
Those of you that have the track pack already installed what is your wheel and tire size?
If you are on 19"s do you wish you had 20"s and vice versa?
Asking strictly from a performance mindset over appearance.
I don’t have the track pack yet. Came here to get information on it.
However, 17 GT PP here, got LMRs NT05 wheel+tire kit 19x10 275/35 front, 19x11 305/35 back. I don’t know what took me so long and why I was tracking with the default PP wheels. These made a huge difference in handling and can finally cannonball out of corners, with the stock tires just couldn’t put that power down to the road.
Can only imagine with the right suspension kit.

Hi all, been trying to look for what should be the must have addons for 17 GT PP mustangs going to tracks.
According to this thread it seems to be to just go with Ford Racing Track Handling pack...
But anything else? Can’t find a thread for it, like:
- Change brake fluid to DOT4
- Add coolers here or there
- etc

What linear springs did you compare with the progressives that led you to to this opinion? I'm sure the community would value your opinion especially since it was with the same shocks/struts/sway bars and car. Add on top of that the same driver/owner and you'd have everyones attention. Do tell!!!

You swapped in magneride? Impressive!!!

It would also be appreciated to know what SpeedLu's honest first-hand basis for preferring progressives over linears happened to be. Not everybody is looking for the same end result.

Most of the strictly performance reasons I can think of favor 19's over 20's.

I suppose once you're running 16" rotors, 19" wheels would be out of the question.

You missed the point entirely. My sarcasm illustrated my point very clearly that claims without evidence are 100% pointless.

Just upgraded my PP 2017 GT to this Track Handling Pack. Very impressed, ride quality is improved IMO compared to the stock PP setup. Stock setup seemed very bouncy to me, almost like it was under-damped. I was worried it would be too harsh for the wife or that it wouldn't be much of an upgrade but all around I'm very pleased. I will say I upgraded rotors to the 2 piece Baer Eradispeeds at the same time, so its possible losing some unsprung weight had an impact
What size wheels? Would there be clearance issues with a 20 inch wheel?
