i understand the pd arent super bad setups anymore, but theres a reason why alot of pd setups choose to factory add ice boxes and none of the centri setups commonly use anything past air to air
Also, Vortech has used air to water in their 4.6/5.0 centrifugal Mustang kits for YEARS

I mean, if i put a 600whp intercooler on a 900whp setup, can you really ask the centri to not heat soak?

a g4 is a decent amount bigger than a g3, and to be totally honest i dont think a g4 is a “adequate size” for the 95-105mm pully gang, however its all you will fit without big modification to crash bars and bumpers

they are hotter setups, so they will need things like iceboxes to compete. I also will put this out there, i think most of us are aware a whipple will make more power than a centri however the heat will cause debate of whos actually making the power and whos just cold engine making a dyno pull
What exactly is your argument?

how is it nobody has put a variable blow-off valve/boost controller on the high side of PD system just like is needed for turbo setups?
This can simply be done with the throttle body and some clever tuning on a PD. No need for additional hardware trickery.

If we put 1000whp setups on 600whp cooling systems, then compare setups and say oh its heating up, this is not a good example to go off of. Which is why i dont trust the data without further details because with this style of thought, you can say a turbo is worse than a whipple in the case of a intercoolerless turbo which used to be common

How do yall think they sell “cold air” intakes? They have DATA for 10hp increases for a open hot air intake vs a stock airbox, and we all know thats all a load of garbage, yet their dyno graph shows the data of a 10 hp increase

data is to be interpreted, meaning +30 deg over ambient doesnt necessarily fault to the supercharger but maybe something else which skews the truth

Centri setups dont commonly use water cooled. Keyword commonly, one example hardly makes your argument

The point of iceboxes and interchillers is to get the IAT below ambient, which you can't do with just water or air.
If thats the case, and the pd is more thermally effecient, then how come every single pd system today uses a water cooled system, usually paired with ice boxes built in, which you claim is in every way better than air to air, and all our 3 centri options dont even consider a water system?

Also if you go to the drag strip, most of the big power centrifugal cars are running air to water as well
