I don't understand the terms sorry, so what is a PD blower and what are the other types of blowers?
Positive Displacement (Whipple, Roush, VMP, Kenne Bell).
Centrifugal (ProCharger, Paxton, Vortech).

Better be prepared to pay if you play.

Came out my Hellion car-summer, last year -you can search my posts for details .
Entirely my fault and unrelated to tune or kit
Short story is boost spike due to inexperience with manual boost controller .
Since replaced short block with alluminator.
That block is being examined for other damage (visually looked fine )now as wanting to do Manley rods /pistons and swap in to other car.

Ah, ok. So, the engine didn't grenade due to itself. That's what I was getting at

185 is cooler than my NA. Mine runs around 195, and then can climb when when I slow or stop. PP does has the larger radiator. Do you have stock thermostat?

I have a Reische thermostat. It is the only one that I recommend and that works.

I want to cross check the cylinder head temp data with one of these. I will probably do that once it starts getting hot in June.

Yup my Reische keeps my car at 188-198 at all times. Highest I've ever seen was 199 lol

I've been wondering about this myself, mine is still stock and it runs around 210-220 in 75 or 80 degree heat, is this normal?

Normal. 240 or higher I'd begin to worry.

Has anyone lost an engine due to a power added. Not from pushing the limits but from some else?
The correct statement would be....

"Blown motor from tuner"

Forced induction doesn't hurt motors. Improper fuel and timing does.

Everything has a mechanical limit. We just haven't seen it yet.
