Take one to a fastener specialist. They can read the markings and provide the same material/grade. But... why do you need to replace them? They had ones close, but didn't see exact.
FP finally got back and is sending some.Take one to a fastener specialist. They can read the markings and provide the same material/grade. But... why do you need to replace them?
Glad they are sending you new ones. The tech that did your friends install should have his certification revoked if he can't properly torque a bolt to spec. SMFH.FP finally got back and is sending some.
I went to several places and no one had any.
The dealership who installed my friends kit over torqued them so they snapped when taking the adapter off. Thankfully the other bolts to the manifold were fine.
No kidding. Can't even read instructions.Glad they are sending you new ones. The tech that did your friends install should have his certification revoked if he can't properly torque a bolt to spec. SMFH.
They have pretty low torque from what I remember - most dealership probably don't have a torque wrench that would accurate in that range. I think I've used Park Tool bicycle torque wrench I've had in my tool box.Glad they are sending you new ones. Use my Park Tool torque wrench for tons of things non bicycle lol. They have pretty low torque from what I remember - most dealership probably don't have a torque wrench that would accurate in that range. I think I've used Park Tool bicycle torque wrench I've had in my tool box.
@Superspirit I haven't installed long tube headers. But, I believe you will need O2 sensor spacers (either straight or 90 degree) depending on if you have high flow cats or no cats. That would take care of any code. I did this on my corvette when I added high flow cats, Big Daddies Garage (online) is a good place to get those spacers. Of course it is not a tune though to get the most out of them.Has anyone tried long tube headers with this kit? If so what was the outcome?
All I can say is that all the problems described in the TSB disappeared when updating with M-9603-M8B. Maybe they simply included the TSB in it ?Hey everyone! I'm thinking of purchasing M-9603-M8B for my 2020 Mustang GT automatic.
However, I just had TSB 21-2357 software update performed on my transmission. I'm wondering if the performance ford tune for the kit will override my recent transmission update?
No seal and it becomes a hot air intake.^^^ Leave gasket on for a good seal under the hood. For me, the hood isn't flush but its not even noticeable. Very small difference.
It's the hot air intake anyway, it will just be eben worse. Most CAIs are.No seal and it becomes a hot air intake.
