  1. AWD 2017 Mustang GT Conversion

    Great video. Very impressive build.
  2. It's been a while and I can't find my code...

I just ordered an exhaust system. Is there a discount code available? Can I call in and apply the discount after the purchase?
  3. Autocross; so what Mustang is best suited for it?

I have heard auto crossers are using the F150 Coyote intake for more low end torque. I guess they are using the cams too. Is this true?
  4. Cabin filter access

My 2019 S550 was the most difficult filter I have ever replaced. Big hands make it even harder. My 19 F150 and 2011 GT500 are much easier. Ford made this hard on purpose IMO.
  5. Granger Sale on Ford Protect Extended Service Plans

Not for used 2019 vehicles. Their drop down doesn't go back that far. It starts at 2021. That's why I asked up front.
  6. Granger Sale on Ford Protect Extended Service Plans

How much for a 6yr/60000 mile ESP added to a 2019 F150 with 31k miles and 18 months left on the factory power train warranty? With a $200 deductible.
  7. How good is Royal Purple Oil?

It's purple and meets or exceeds factory specs like almost every oil. I have been using the Ford recommended Motorcraft synthetic blend the GT500. My F150 with a 5.0 get's the same + Ceratec. I like Amsoil products. But too pricey for my annual oil change. I only put about 2k a year on each...
  8. What are the best Houston Area dealers?

Russell Smith did a very quick and courteous job on a used car inspection for ESP warranty on my King Ranch. Free pick up and delivery on a Friday! I also had excellent experience with Mcree in Clear Lake. They have a good rep.
  9. Extended Warranty

Thanks. I went back to Zeigler using the correct calc. They are at $1900 for the plan the Ford ESP rep quoted me at $3200.
  10. Extended Warranty

I called a Ford Esp rep to add extended warranty to my 2019 F150 King Ranch 4X4 31k miles. Bumper to bumper for 48mo 48k mile for $3200. That's about $300 less than Zeigler. I will have to pay a $130 inspection fee. They send out a contract inspector. Anyone know how I can do better than $3200...
  11. Pair of 255/40-19 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

Central Houston. Galleria area. A pair of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 255/40- 19 New take offs from my Mustang. I replaced them with summer Tires. These only drove home from the dealer. I want Best offer for the pair local pickup only.
  12. Disregard

    Disregard
  13. Mustang B & O Skar-ified full speaker swap spoilers (not a waste of $)

My 2011 GT500 with the Shaker 500 system. Blows away the B&O surround sound monstrosity that's was in my 2019 S550. Surround sound is not a step foreword in auto audio IMO. If you spend a lot of time wondering if it sounds right? It doesn't.
  14. Engine sputtering after putting 2018 intake manifold

PBD has it right. All the Hallmarks of a vacuum leak. Pull the manifold. Do it over.
  15. Big insurance increase (State Farm)--anyone else?

I was with State Farm for 10 yrs. and I payed an average of $240 per mo for 3 cars including the Shelby. Full coverage except the company van which has liability. I went with Progressive and it went down to $197 for the same policy. State Farms administration has had issues and a body shop I...
  16. popping from front suspension

The upper strut bearing/bushings are notorious for early demise. My S550 had bad units at 19,000 miles replaced under warranty. Made a clicking/popping sounds during parking type slow turns.
  17. Throttle Response Enhancers

I had one on my S550. Waste of money. I never could find a setting better than factory.
  18. Auto transmission concern

And the level is always lacking when first checked. That tiny dipstick on the trans is a slap in the customers face. You need to check it hot and it's very close to the exhaust. Gloves will be needed. It should go all the way up to top of the engine like the engine oil dipstick, also difficult...
