Do you have a squeegee and a spray bottle? You'll need those at a minimum. If it were me, I wouldn't apply it without a heat gun. See if your tint guy can do it for cheap. It should take him all of 15 minutes to do it with the right equipment and experience.
Your brake candy is giving me cavities in my wallet. Tell me more.... do you still have a parking brake with that set up? Can you provide a link to where you got them?
Always put a charger on the battery when flashing a tune. Despite that, the factory tune doesn't really work with the different MAF and throttle body that the tune comes with. If you flash back to stock, you need to swap all the intake parts as well.
This is great! I can actually buy this Tarminator stuff at my local Walmart. I had no idea it was so good at cleaning tires. Can always count on superb advice from you @DFB5.0
I emailed the shop these pictures and 15 minutes later I got a reply saying someone would call me shortly. An hour later they called me apologizing and didn't question anything. They want me to bring the wheels in and they will repair them at Rim Doctor. A very reputable business that I have had...
The shop offered to repair the wheels at Rim Doctor. A very reputable business that I have had past positive experience with. They'll do a better job than any attempt that I could do. Wheels will be about a week to fix. I'm ok with that.
These wheels were flawless before the tire shop got them. I inspected and hand delivered them in thier original boxes. That brown gunk was on tire when I got them. They were quite dirty. This was a large shop. KalTire. I'm surprised they messed this up.
I was washing my wheels today to remove the tire lube and noticed the shop scratched both back wheels installing the tires. I thought it was just dried tire lube but sadly, not. The scratches go halfway around the sharp corner on the rims. The shop that did them said they needed to do the rear...

I could some tire cleaning advice. I have a brand new set of Conti ECS 02's on the car. I cannot seem to get the tire lube off of the side walls and out of the bead area. The discoloration of white and brown comes right back after they are dry. I don't want to apply a tire dressing to tires that...
They're really great tires. I've really been enjoying my new set. I dropped nearly $3K for them with balancing and mounting. That's in Canukistan dollars though.
I have the exact same problem with mine too. Not sure I can stand them another season but I also don't want my car down for numerous days to uninstall and repair the torn factory bushings.
To answer your question, the long bolt goes on the rear passenger side with the funky doo-dad weight thing.
Thanks! It's been a long journey to get it to this point. I was researching wheels for the last 3 years while I saved up for this upgrade. Explored all the options and time after time I kept coming back to the PP2 style design. Went with the SP2 instead of the OEM PP2 wheel because of the weight...
Understandable. I can vouch for them. Very legit and there are few other members here that also purchase from them. That's how I found them. They do gloss CF as well.
Having a new set of buttons is good if yours are wearing out so there is that advantage with the AM wheel. Although the swap over...
Sizes are:
Front: 285/35R19 on 10" wheel with +35 offset.
Rear: 325/30R19 on 11" wheel with +50 offset.
Tires that came off had less than 12 thousand miles on them. Still had plenty of tread life. So I will be selling them soon.
IMO that wheel is overpriced. On a steering wheel, dye will likely not wear well or fade. Why not go with the ebay wheel I linked above? They will customize it the way you want.
