I use the rabbit method, just let the guy in the GTI/BMW/lifted truck beat you in the "race" you guys just had and let them collect there prize/ticket.

I have a Cobra synced to my phone for GPS. This thing has more than paid for itself already.

I have the 9500ix, it's a nice unit! I've had some issues with the GPS board but they fixed it. Couple other minor issues... Mounting would not hold to windshield in single digit temps!

I'm in the market for a radar detector for the first time but there are so many to choose from. The Passport 9500ix looks good, but I'm hearing good things about the Valentine V1. Which do you swear on?

I have both I could live with either one they both rock. If I had to choose I'd probably go with the 9500i because of the speed read out.

I bought the blend mount for the rear view mirror. I also bought a better windshield mount for my company vehicle which works 10X better than the one's that come with it. It has a big black suction cup that won't come off until you take it off.

After much research and user reviews I got the Passport 9500ix. I've only used it a couple weeks but love it so far! Almost NO false alarms....ever!

I've had my V1 since 2002. I love the arrows and the counter. It's never let me down

Another 9500ix owner here. Love it. I also have a Papago dash cam w/ GPS and it has a database of speed/red light cameras.

For all the holy ones that never speed and say.......,"how about not speeding!".......please exit the thread.......lol
I had Valentine One for a few years and it was just quirky and constantly going off for no reason. I tried to love it, but the technology just can't keep up with the Escort/Passport/Solo.

I've been using the Valentine V1 for almost 6 years now. It has saved my ass more times than I can count. I wouldn't even consider another product.

New or used. If new then I say go w the V1. Prices for a used Passport can be much lower then used V1s.
