My first mod was a new exhaust system you could actually hear, Hood struts that should have been standard, Stealthbox sub woofer to upgrade the crappy sound system, strut tower brace, and engine dress up caps, covers, and overflow tank. Then came the Ford Performance Power Pack 2. Latest...
Iām currently running the stock tires on my 2015 GT with the 50th anniv. wheels. Stock size is 255 40 R19. Will I have any rubbing if I order 275 40 R19s or should I stick with the 255s? The Michelinās are custom order so the tire shop says Iām stuck with them if they donāt fit! I donāt...
I went to a dealer close to home that did NOT sell me the vehicle. They gladly installed PP2 in under 2 hours and charged me $219. Plus, told me it was under Fords warranty. I brought in my own parts. Look for another dealer!
Got mine from CJ Pony. They notified me it was in stock, I ordered around May 31 and had it in my hands 2 days later. $755 shipped. Lucky I guess! Loving it!
I didn't want the summer to be over before I got it!
Can you get 93 octane in your area? I've run Shell V Power 93 in my car even before the PP2 upgrade. Great gas! I'd probably try to run a tank or two before you instal PP2 to be safe but it probably doesn't matter too much if it's mostly the better stuff.
The Ford engineers would claim that the little bit of oil just burns off in the crankcase and does no harm. Maybe they are correct but I feel better getting rid of it!
Agree 100%. I have an automatic and notice all the same improvements! All the shifts are clean and more aggressive. The car just feels faster! At 60mph I almost left rubber on the highway! LOL
Do it!
I just upgraded to the 3.0 after running the older version for 2 years. The old one caught a lot of oil too. I'm curious to see if I notice any difference. Probably not....lol. OCD? Yes!
I hope this is true or I just wasted $130 to upgrade from the older one to the 3.0. They look identical except for the logo on the cover! What's different? :headbonk:
