Tire recommendation for HPDE

Is 1.8 recommended for the rear and 2.7 for the front?

Much better camber numbers, do that.

As for tires the 3 (non R) would be my pick for track days. The 660 are fine but the 3 would be my choice. For autocross, flip that. The R is a faster tire but won’t last as long.

I'm with others on the Goodyears. I've run the 3's. Last forever and are surprisingly fast. And with that USAA discount, very nicely priced.
I also agree with the getting an instructor in car as much as possible. Most of the time we do know what we are doing and are very willing to help. I recommend that you ride with your instructor; especially if in the same or similar style car. You might be amazed what you pick up from the passenger seat.

Does this sound right? I just called my loc Discount Tire guy, and he called Goodyear and GY is telling him the Eagle F1 Supercar is no longer being made, and if I found any online it’s just old stock? He said he’s not able to order them for me.
Does this sound right?
He’s calling Toyo on the price for the R888R’s and NT01’s.

The RT660’s don’t come in a 285/35/19, will the 295/30/19 work on 19x10’s ET40 with no spacers or extended studs? It looks like they’re a tad bit wider, I’m guessing if they fit, it’s just barely?

I've never heard of this either. It's a super popular tire and came factory on the Camaros. I'd be shocked to learn it's discontinued.

Goodyear has offered (and continues to offer) several tires that include "Eagle F1 Supercar" in the tire model name.

I have a suspicion that between the Discount Tire guy and the GY rep on the other end of the line somebody ended up thinking in terms of the original Eagle F1 Supercar tires. Think 2008-ish S197 GT500 here. That one almost certainly would be out of production.

I looked into SC3s this spring and I recall Discount Tire and Discount Tire Direct simply not carrying the tire in 285/35 19 for some reason (went another direction and didn’t find out why). DT Direct currently shows 1 size for 19”. Tire Rack did then and does now have them available in the above size.

I think you might be right. I went onto Goodyear's site and I'm able to purchase them and ship them to an installer nearby. I'm back on the phone with Discount Tire - and the manager looked up the tires and saw for himself. He said sometimes GoodYear will make specific tires, for only their own stores to sell. He's on the phone with GoodYear again asking.

Discount found them - through GoodYear direct. Their pricing is $200.00 more than me going through GoodYear direct and having their recommended shop install.

Also, Lugs? Apex shows 60 degree lugs. Anyone have input on those?

no idea what DT supplies for TPMS. I buy mine from tpms.com
gorilla lug nuts. Not sure the Ford ones will fit on your new wheels.

Awesome, thank you sir! Since they come pre-programmed, I don’t need anything else but just the 4 sensors correct? I see there is a programmer tool you can purchase as well.
Eta - just called TPMS - I did have to add the $28.00 reset tool to my cart.

I love my Ford Racing open lug nuts. OPMustang also sells them

I debated - but didn’t want that stupid dash light on all the times I have the track setup on.
