I absolutely love my Factory Five. I bought it in Oct '09 and took five years to build it slowly to my taste, which was intended to replicate a "gentleman's S/C racer" from back in the day.

There are lots of guys running Coyotes in their FFRs, but I'm not aware of anyone who's made the Voodoo plunge.

Mine has a mild 347 and a T5, with lots of period-correct touches. It's such an analog car and is a joy to drive - I've racked up almost 18,000 miles since it hit the road.

Beautiful. I wish I had the garage space to build one. Iā€™ve wanted to do it for over a decade.

I saw that within like 5 minutes of release, haha. The green looks incredible...wish it was offered that color instead of needing to wrap.

M2's are great cars. Quick, nimble, comfortable. Very different from a GT350 let alone R in terms of rawness but very satisfying.

The M2 comp is faster than an M4 right? If I'm not mistaken it has the same heart on a lighter/more nimble chassis?

I don't think so. Sadly the M2 weighs about the same or even a little bit more than the M4 while also having a detuned engine with less HP (if we're talking M2 comp vs. F82 M4).

M2 CS weighs 100 lbs less than M4 CS. Same engine with 10 hp less.

I don't know about the M2 Comp specifically, but in general the M2 has been slower than the M4. That was actually a joke on The Grand Tour a few years ago. Jeremy Clarkson was saying he thinks the M2 is the best driving modern M car, and they showed that of the M cars it was also the slowest around the track, and Hammond goes "so if they offered you any M car you'd say I'll take the slowest one thank you".

In C&D's Lightning Lap series, the 2015 BMW M4 did 3:00.7 around VIR. The 2016 BMW M2 (different, non-M engine) did it in 3:01.9; the 2019 M2 Competition (same engine as the M4, different body) did it in 2:59.7. I'd call the M4 and M2C within the margin of error.

Great car, and right at home at Elkhart Lake. Everyone on this forum owes it to themselves to make the trip

Very cool car. If I ever have the opportunity to get one, the only way I would do it is with the 427 side oiler. Iā€™m sure Iā€™d have to reach deep into my pockets.

Nothing quite like it on a warm summer evening - here's the view from behind the wheel of my Factory Five.

That's the configuration of the car that Mr. Shelby called "pig".
