PS - I remember plenty of posts and this IS your MO. You have that weird thing where you cant help but slip in your predisposed opinion while disguising your comments as constructive or inquisitive.
Your car is special... in fact, I would have bought an M1 if the GT350 did not exist.
And when you've been called out and are clearly being a douche, it's 2024 best practice to turn it on someone else, like you have done. I did think about it, and read a few follow-ups and the direction is clear. You have a great car, it's OK.
Love when others like to bolster their purchase decisions by starting these types of conversations. People are so dumb to need this type of thing to make themselves feel good.
If you didn't buy a GT350 or 500, you bought an inferior Mustang, get over it ;)
Evidence - where are there any GT350...
My wife has an 01 Cobra.. When they first started leaking GT350 info (before we knew the name), I hoped it would be called SVT Cobra again. I do think there's a good chance it will return. After owning a GT350R (2) - it would need to be pretty special for me to be interested.
You make a good argument for use cases where specific funtionality is required but most people who buy these are just catalog surfing and replacing stuff because they can (it's the Mustang aftermarket way) and sometimes under the marketing or fear-factor guise from a vendor, that the product is...
I missed the posts showing how the OE ones failed? I vote for a simple, clean OE engine bay.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should but someone will happily sell you a part to put anywhere you like.
First - if you’re buying from shady used car dealers then sure / otherwise, you’re wrong.. same for every state. Second - as a car enthusiast, if you’re buying a car without seeing it, you’re dumb, no matter what state it is.
It's an incredible car. I do have a mental tick that makes me want old cars back so I just need to resist that and I'll be OK ;). Time for the next stage and that is a project or two....fully understanding how great the car I gave up was.
This doesn't mean we cant still be friends! :)...
Correct - but it's non-binding. Ford will do what they want - this whole process is just putting OP through the ringer in hopes he caves or if the arbitrator doesn't find in his favor to begin with. By going through arbitration, they have cut their risk of losing by at least 50% but don't be...
I think it depends a lot on the message they want to send...or which one they want to not send.
It's either, these warranties are as shady as people worry that they are and don't actually give any piece of mind to the buyer (which is their entire sales strategy) or they open up themselves to...
They are air-cooled - would never really perform like the 350, I have no illusions.
One is a 964 RS America and the other is a 91 964 C2 - the C2 is a basket case due to previous ownership.

Good news and bad news.
Bad first - looks like my car will be leaving with a new owner on Tuesday. It was a hard choice. I don't drive it a lot and my itch to wrench on something is outweighing the joy of just looking at the R in my garage, as grand as that is. I have a couple old Porsches...
