Im just saying that there is IAT1, IAT2, MCT, and relocation harnesses involved so it’s very easy to log the wrong one. And based on your temp readings, I highly suspect you’re reading pre-supercharger air temp.
Does anyone know if on the digidash screen where it says intake temp, if its sourcing from maf or somewhere else? Cuz thats where im looking

for ess the maf gets located between post intercooler and pre throttle body. I cant imagine the temp being pre supercharger as there is an intake pipe with nothing routed on it. The only way i get the wrong info is if my “intake air temp” is actually displaying the temp on the crash bar for ambient temp

A quick look online tells me what im reading is ait #1, so maybe i am reading the correct one.
I would like to add, im on pump gas so i only have seem an average 9psi, max 11psi on my setup, with the biggest intercooler that ess offers which honestly doesnt have much room to be bigger and fit the crash car without modification

I never understood the point of pd or centri. Turbo is always the correct answer. :)

no snout problems, slipping belts, extra crank stress, balancers. tires spinning is just worthless.

I owned a 2018 A10 with a Roush P2 kit. Other than it was during the first year the blower was available, the car was always at the shop for something (under warranty). Not necessarily the blower's fault but at 7,000 miles it melted the cats and spent a month there. Traded it at 14,000 miles for a 2019.

The 2019, should have stayed stock. Roush P2 was installed at 700 miles. Header's went on and cats taken off at 2,000 miles. Besides always being in and out of the dealer once again for Roush and Ford warranty work. Tuned it about a year and a half in. Had car for two and a half years and at 20,000 miles the engine started misfiring, bad... Dealer voided my warranty for the headers but Geico picked up the bill and paid $14,000 for a new engine. Exhaust manifolds and cats were a requirement and so was the Roush tune.

Car was at the dealer for 9 months while they ordered a motor and did the work. Got the car back finally and a week later it melted the cats.... Traded it at 35,000 miles and I think the VCT's were starting to go bad.

It will be the last Mustang I own. Not because of the issues though. Just because it was a one and done kind of thing. Car was fast as hell but I needed something my 13 year old could fit in the back of :)

Right? I DD'd my tt5.0 for 50k miles. I love the set up. Only time I regret it is when i have to rip everything off to work on it. 🤣
I just remember back in day turbo guys having lots of issues compared to the people who went with a blower.

What kit did you go with? I just thought the sleeper setups would be a bad idea to daily in bad roads or in the rain.

What software can you log with? You should definitely be seeing more than 15 over ambient in a pull.

I went whipple, I’d definitely do it again. Take racing or top speed out of it, the extra down low grunt helps make the high rpm coyote even more balanced.

The car is just a monster. Matter fact I’m gonna go put my 3.5 pulley on this afternoon.

There are more moving parts so you could have more chance of issues with a turbo kit but a quality one that's installed right should give too many issues. I run the sleeper kit in Az where debris is everywhere, roads suck and the first year I had it on we had a really wet year. One morning I got stuck driving through pretty bad standing water on the freeway. After making it to work that morning I realized the low mounts weren't going to have an issue in rain. I hydrolocked an na car with a cai in less water than I saw that morning.

I haven't had many issues in the 50k miles I drove it. Had a small pin hole leak in the intercooler and the vbands post turbo don't seal perfect without some help but that's all I can think of that was caused by the kit. I had a couple small oil leaks along the way but they always happened after I tore things apart and put it back together so I'm pretty sure I a few things I didn't mean to, to cause them.

If your comfortable doing all your own work then turbos are a blast but I wouldn't recommend them to someone paying labor. My TT mustang has never left me stranded though in 3 years of driving it. My crappy little civic si has already needed 2 tows and I've only drove it about 9 months.

I have the V3JT on my 18. Went 9.9@143 with the stock 3.6 pulley and factory drivetrain. Was a little boring down low, on drag radials. It always had enough to get stupid on reg radials.

Then I got the Circle D converter and built the trans. That converter really woke the car up. Havent gone back to the track yet, but it's a lot faster and more than enough on the street.
