So I have recently started playing with sport and sport+ noticed my trans isnt happy until it gets some heat in it. I will drive in normal mode and then switch over. This got me thinking of when you dyno the car.
Are you making pulls with a cold trans? Are you making pulls in drive?

Man, I wish I could swing those 20” brushed aluminum. Just with getting blower, full exhaust, tires, wheels, dyno time, remote tune….the bank account says no more.
i will be getting the regular brushed 20” though. Just wanting to do everything at once.
I did have a friend with an old 280z make an intercooler piping setup from Home Depot pvc . It actually held up to 7-8psi if I remember. 11-12psi not so much.
Was hilarious. Was before I had a cellphone, wish I had a picture of it.
I do know people are able to do boost by gear with PCMtec. Watched a video in a thread on here where a member has it. So if I go pd, that will definitely help with traction.
I have the smart and safe package and know I need to buy the EU bullitt lower grill and have that part number.
I can’t find a number for the blacked upper grill.
I can only find M-8200-MBA which is the upper and lower blacked out grill, but the lower is not the EU version of which is sensor...
I just remember back in day turbo guys having lots of issues compared to the people who went with a blower.
What kit did you go with? I just thought the sleeper setups would be a bad idea to daily in bad roads or in the rain.
Since getting a s550 just always wanted a PD blower. Bought a10 3.15 gear 21 gt and kept deciding between a roush or whipple due to being a fun daily blower.
Have been reading that a lot of people say a centrifugal is better for an auto due to the powerband and shift points.
Did you go pd and...
yeah storm claims are fun. They will have a team of State Farm adjusters and probably outside third party adjusters helping with the load. You can wait for the in person inspection. Just be sure to show on time. They will have cars coming in from dawn to dusk like clock work.
we had a giant...

have seen a couple of people say no issue running cats and quite a few say it’s a time bomb if you don’t get rid of them.
trying to plan my stage 2 whipple build on what all I need to do when adding blower vs what can wait.
not opposed to running no cats due to no emission checks down here.
main reason was I assumed it would be better to get a custom tune with headers and off-road pipe.
Reason to get headers and off road pipes is that I kept reading that boost will kill the converters
I was/am on the fence on doing them when I do the whipple this winter. Talked to the tuner I plan on using and he said he recommended them.
Most of the info I have been reading is a few years old about issues with some brands, which makes me think that they have figured out their problems now...
I know this is an old thread, but I emailed Wengerd last night at 7:30 asking some questions about tuning and recommendations for a boosted setup.
He responded in 4 minutes.
I’m definitely going to be using them.
For boosted people that are adding octane booster when they fill up, what octane are you aiming to get? 94? 98? 100? Etc
Back in the planing stage of my future build and I was thinking of getting a whipple with a 93 octane tune and add a little Boostane to each tank just to be sure I’m getting...
I went with a prebuilt because I don’t know how to do it myself. I ordered a Corsair i7300 with a rtx3090 and i9-12000k. Should be in later this week. I got it for VR.
