Any reason you did not install this yourself? I mean, it is a strut brace. Takes maybe 5 minutes tops to put on.
And how the hell did they cause that many scratches? Was there anything else the shop put on?

If they did similar "damage" somewhere in the suspension, would that be similar problem for you OP ? Like underneath the car ?
This is under the hood, they'll look at your really weird when you show up, even weirded when you start talking about it putting it back the way it was (KingKona's question is very valid in this case).
Putting it they it was would require going back to unibody and factory painting it, which is ridiculous to even suggest.
Touch it up or just leave as is.
Also, suggestion to do it yourself above was great. This is as basic of a job as they come.

I get I’m being a bit over the top about it but it’s just very frustrating to come across on a car I bought new 6 months ago. I just would like them to give an honest attempt to make the situation better, and if they cannot I will do it myself. I’m going to go in there very respectful, not going to b them out etc.

Your reasonable options are touch it up yourself, leave as is, ask them to touch it up (with understanding that they're going to have their lowest qualified guy take a touch up paint and go at it.

Yep. OP, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Installation takes maybe 15 minutes for the spoiler and STB.

Yep. That would be my bigger concern. Did I just turn a minor scratch, which 90% of people will never know exists, into a molehill, where now there is gobs of touch up paint that doesn't quite match, which also dripped all over.
I just don't see this ending well. The only real reasonable thing, IMO, is to call and say look, I found some scratches under the hood. I apologize, I should have inspected the car before I left. I didn't, that is my fault. I don't know if they are from me, but just in case, I wanted to let you all know it might have happened here. I also noticed some scratches on the strut tower brace. Did you all see those when you installed it? If so, let me know so I can return it for an unblemished STB.

I can share that the Ford color pens are a freaking mess, but match very well. Just order it from your dealership with the paint-code on the car. Watch YouTube videos on how they work.
Any color black should be close enough on those parts.

I agree with the majority on this one. Lodge your complaint with the shop - in a respectful manner; then fix it yourself. A few of the scratches look like they could be wet-sanded out. Once you have touched the others up, careful wet sanding will help them blend in. You will take more time and care than the shop and it will turn out better. And it's a good excuse to bond with your car. Nothing stays new forever, but I share your passion to keep it that way as long as posible!
