I mean, the Bullitt was basically a GT with Cobra brakes, some braces and otherwise insignificant 'bolt ons.' Still basically a gutless 2V. The gauge cluster is also impossible to read. The Mach 1 is the best of the N/A SN95s, no doubt.
LOL on the bold....it was a little more impressive car than that....

It really should have had a 4V engine though.

Bro in law had a Cobra. The engine in the terminator was great and the car looked aggressive but the rest of the dynamics of the car was average. Good for its time but doesn't hold a candle to the latest gen.

'03-'04 Terminator Cobra was my dream Mustang for the longest time. Then the new GT350 came out... :)

I replaced my totaled S550 with an S197.

2014 Shelby GT500 with 3k miles on it. Every option but glass roof. All bone stock except the 20" True Forged wheels and MPSS tires. I have the original wheels/tires, too.

Put it on the dyno Tuesday night, too. Car pulls like a freight train for being all stock.

Watch out for that white paint. 3K miles? I'm guessing this was owned by some rich sod who mostly let it sit in his 5 car garage, looks immaculate.

My last mustang was a 2003 cobra. I sold it in 2006. I went mustangless until June 2016. Almost ten years. I drove one 2012 5.0 a few times. I was originally looking for a 13-14 5.0 car, but my wife poo-pooed the interiors on them after sitting in a 16. I ended up with a 30,000 mile used 15. It's fun, and I paid less than I did for the 03 cobra.

I'd still love to have a 5.0 S197, but the S550 makes a better daily driver. As wonky as the 03-04 cobra IRS was, it kind of ruined me for a road going mustang.

Great car enjoy.
Thanks. I love this Shelby. The stock power is amazing.

It was a 6X year old man that bought it brand new. Only took it out on sunny days and lived under the cover in his garage. He is retired now and he and his wife travel a bunch. He felt bad for letting the car just sit and if he got the right money he would let it go.
Car looks awesome, enjoy it!
Thanks. I love, love this thing. It's a great driving car. The torque is freaking crazy vs. what I was used to in my S550:eyebulge:

I have to admit, I do miss my '08 bullitt sometimes, especially with what I've been through with more recent Mustangs.
I love my '15, but sometimes wish I could have my '09 Bullitt sitting there next to it.

I still prefer the look of the s197 over the s550 but the s550 has grown on me. I hated it's look at first. On the three s550 cars I have test drove, none of them impressed me enough to lose money and trade in. I liked the brakes and seats better on the s550 but that was about it. My car is not a daily driver so I don't care about all of the fancy electronic gadgets inside. I also prefer the SRA to the IRS but that is just me plus I don't track my car so I can't tell a big difference in ride. Here are a few pics of my 14.
