  1. LIVERNOIS 2024-2026 FORD MUSTANG 2.3L ECOBOOST TUNER THOUGHTS?

You might get a better opinion if you go to the 7G page. https://www.mustang7g.com/ With that said, I have a Livernois tune on my Mach 1. I use the Flex tune and am happy with most of it. The only issue I had, and never was solved by Livernois, was they said the ethanol content would be...
  2. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

Good luck and I hope you get to post some videos of the day!
  3. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

Yes, I use E85, well......more like E77 based on my E sensor, on track. More power and less heat generation. Make the short drive to Oklahoma sometime and get on track with me! I can not say enough good things about the Potenza RE71RS tires. Granted, they are the only 200TW tire I have...
  4. Any test of Performance gain or not by opening the driver side faux driving light/fog light?

The CT designs grill inserts look great in place of the factory solid plastic piece. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/ct-designs-fog-light-insert.232496/
  5. Cyber Sec Guy with 0 Tool Experience, Starting my 2020 EcoBoost Journey!

Regarding tools......if your life does not depend on it, you can buy it at Harbor Freight or Amazon. If your life does depend on it, like jack stands, buy a reputable brand. Side note......I sometimes use HF jack stands when swapping wheels/tires/brake pads, but I'm not under my car...
  6. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

It isn't as fast as my Mach 1, but close. PR in that car is a 1:26.3 but I can definitely bring that down a bit with the front brake upgrade I just did and now my Potenza's have a few track days on them.
  7. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

It's a new club that features Mustangs that go to Hallett. They are going to do an event once per year. They did a car show and a track day. Not a big turnout, but it was hot AF and I think I did more marketing for it than the actual organizer. You could always come out this weekend...
  8. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

Come out and play sometime! This was a special VIP for a new Mustangs of Hallett club. They ended up inviting all car makes/models too. I'm taking my GTI this coming Saturday but will bring my Mach 1 for the October HST weekend. I hope to see/meet you there!
  9. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

I could not agree more. Trying to track that procharged 2016 GT was not fun. I spent as much time looking at my gauges and worrying about heat management than I did looking at the track. Hence why I went to my GTI (before I bought the Mach 1) for track days. Sad thing is my VW GTI...
  10. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

Exactly, I put that fuel pump in almost the worst possible conditions and it passed the test. At first, I had reservations forking out that much money, but it was worth every dime. My previous 2 track weekends were not fun because I was dealing with that fuel cut. I thoroughly enjoyed this...
  11. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

More power=more heat. Heat is your biggest enemy on track during a 20 minute session. I have 1st hand experience with this when tracking the 2016 GT I had (mods in sig). Several others on this forum have battled it as well. A larger intercooler is going to reduce airflow through the cooling...
  12. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

All of this is 100% spot on. Install is stupid simple with the tool.
  13. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

Yes to the problems w/the OEM pump. Ford issued a recall because they suck at making fuel pumps for the 18-23 5.0's. I was getting massive fuel cut tracking out of fast left turns and when over 6k rpm. I tried the DW400 pump and had the same issue. Tried the DW400 module. Same issue. The...
  14. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

Session 2 I intentionally started with 3/4 and ended with 1/4. No fuel cut. I did full tanks the other sessions. Didn’t want to do too much science testing.
  15. CT Designs Fog Light Insert

Nope! Just the tabs holding the plastic radiator cover. Use a small flathead to remove the stock inserts, slip the new ones in. There’s a good video on their website.
  16. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

New PR video. As my daughter says, I was "locked in". A 1:24.6 for a non-dedicated race car is in fairly rarefied territory at this track. My car needs LT headers. Fuel cut was happening when tracking out of turn 6/around the 47 second mark in the video.
  17. My KPM800 track test (KPM 800HP Track Pack Fuel Pump)

I’ll update as the day goes on. I’ll do at least 5, maybe 6 sessions. It’s going to be hot here (104). Session 1: It works. So far. Hopefully it continues this when the heat creeps up. Zero fuel cut. And I set a new PR of 1:25.5 which is pretty damn good for a not-dedicated race car. I also...
  18. CT Designs Fog Light Insert

I ordered and installed these on my Mach 1. IMO, this is how Ford should have done it from the factory. Shipping was fast and install was easy. disclaimer: I have no financial interest but just like to share info about good products. www.ctdesignstx.com
  19. What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

3-4 mpg. Seriously. But that's because my car is on E85 and I'm staying >6K rpm most of the time. Track use. If I do drive it city/hwy then it's about 13-14.
  20. Ford previews 4-door Mustang hybrid sedan (Mach-4) to dealers

Look, regarding the weight of the car, all cars made today are heavy AF. Thanks Uncle Sam for making so many damn useless safety features required. This car will be >4k lbs. Probably 4,200-4,300 lbs. I HIGHLY doubt any 4 door Mach4 buyers will be taking this car to the track. I have seen 2...
