Good news! Where did you order your crank support and balancer from? Did you go IW or ATI?

I ordered the crank support and pulley directly from procharger. And I purchased the ati balancer from summit

Got it !
So what would happen if you used the 5.2 crank with a coyote rod /piston combo (with 1.165 CH ) ?

I know if you did the “reverse” with boss crank and voodoo piston in a 5.2 block you lose displacement /CR and quench .
5.2 crank and coyote rod/piston would put the piston out of the hole approx .010 if block deck was zero.

Yes, coyote crank with voodoo rod/piston would put piston in the hole .010 if block deck was zero.

But the gen1 and gen2 were similarly priced but the gen3 a lot cheaper
It's because the gen 3 is currently in production.

So not a big deal, either mill .01 off the top or just run it with an .04 gasket.

This is a little confusing. What do you mean by "block deck was zero"? (Zero deck height means that the top of the piston (flat portion of top regardless of dish or crown) is even with the top of the block.)

Nominally, the piston for the coyote and voodoo engines are 0.011 - 0.012 down respectively. Using the 5.2 crank w/coyote pistons puts the piston 0.005 down.

Or just run the correct components.

Ill go with it

Now you need to check for piston to valve clearance. Old skool kool.

So effectively increasing compression ?

The damage is worse than I thought. I got the motor out today and pulled one of the valve covers to find every rocker arm broken. I’m thinking I may have to get a long block now.

Sorry man .
Been there twice .
first time was my 2012 GT with 2.9 whipple and 20 % OD ATI damper . Heads were trashed .
More recently one of my 15’s -Hellion TT with stock size ATI damper . Expensive GT 350 heads too . Multiple broken rockers and cam caps/bent valves .
MMR could fix them but by the time I shipped /bought new valves decided not worth it .

used GT 350 heads as core for new GT heads .
$850 OTD

Good luck on the rebuild .
