  1. What is this part?

    High pressure fuel pump
  2. Anyone seen a gen3 piston failure like this?

That's the F150 Coyote block which also uses a two part cylinder head. The Mustang Coyote block is essentially a Gen3 block.
  3. Camshaft Holding Tool

Never found it necessary to hold cams.
  4. Need dipstick length on 5.0 Coyote gen 3 with 10 qt pan

Better recheck, you left off a foot.
  5. I'm watching the Indy 500 and do not understand the line

They move away from the wall as quickly as possible on the straights as it is aero inefficient to run these cars close to the wall. They go to the extreme inside track during the race to hinder runs to their inside prior to corner entry of the following car. In qualifying they just move down to...
  6. I need a wiring harness that is discontinued.

FWIW, parts.ford has the following harness part numbers, but all are on backorder: High Performance LS Package - RWD. Part #: GU5Z12A581EH Usage: 03/03/2016 - 08/25/2016 Manual, GT Part #: HU5Z12A581W Usage: 08/25/2016 - 10/02/2017, High Performance LS Package - RWD. Part #: HU5Z12A581X Usage...
  7. Frankenstein build - Voodoo / Coyote PCM, harness and fuel pump questions for a Voodoo 5.2 transplant into a GT chassis

The two engine harnesses are pinned differently from the factory to account for the different firing order and you could use the GT harness to go CPC. I would just re-pin the 350 harness though as the fuel pressure sensor is in the fuel rail on the 350.
  8. GT500 Valve Cover Install

The sensor lays flat against the valve cover, it should fit under the coil cover.
  9. GT500 Valve Cover Install

Easiest fix is to buy and instal the sensor. It's about $30. Another option is to tap and insert a pipe plug. Third option is to measure the hole and find and tap in an appropriately sized galley plug.
  10. GT500 Valve Cover Install

It's described as a pressure sensor.
  11. GT500 Valve Cover Install

Those covers are for the 2025 F150 5.2L. P2GZ9J460A is the sensor that fits there and W714507S437 is the bolt that holds it in place.
  12. Predator vs coyote build

Deck height is 8.937" for both blocks. That puts his combo 0.083" below deck. Stock is somewhere around 0.015" below.
  13. Predator vs coyote build

I looked up your pistons with a 1.09" comp height as I remember the comp height of coyote pistons to be ~1.168". I'm not sure what Predator pistons stock are but the Voodoo is 1.161" for the increased stroke. From DSS: "323 Ford Coyote Direct INJ , FX, Comp Height: 1.09, +1cc Dome Top, PIN...
  14. 2024 DH just went 156mph in the 1/4 (at 4,270 lbs)

ML3Z prefix of the part number: M='21, L3= f150/f250 line, doesn't need to be from the 250.
  15. 2024 DH just went 156mph in the 1/4 (at 4,270 lbs)

Just for clarity, the oil drive socket is pressed on, the timing is keyed, you can see the key in the video. The intake phasers and rocker arms are earlier '21 F150/250 phasers, ML3Z part numbers. There is a brief mention of the phaser in the 2024 Crate engine video and the single throttle...
  16. GT350 heads vs 5.0 ported

Don't cancel, the gen3 are $30. lol. I had ordered a gen3, predator and voodoo rocker arm to compare them over a year ago. The gen 3 came with the adjuster.
  17. GT350 heads vs 5.0 ported

I was surprised when I saw it too, and they interchange with Gen3 coyote. To be fair though, I believe if you order the Gen3 rockers, they include the lash adjuster. I also went to FP as they used to have the predator rockers as a set but didn't see it there now.
  18. GT350 heads vs 5.0 ported

This is MMR's photo, it's obvious there is misalignment of the lobe over the roller.
  19. GT350 heads vs 5.0 ported
