So just a bit of a sanity check while waiting to hear back from tuner.

Newer tune, as well as new car to me, but said everything looked good outside of a first cold start almost always dies.

Had some registration issues and couldn't drive the car. Had to change out the whole front pulley system, as a failed pulled shredded the belt and took out another pulley as well. Got everything back together, and FINALLY got the registration done on the car. Took it down to Cordova Dragway to finally put some numbers down to see how it was, especially as I had gotten my drag pack in. Granted the prep was pretty bad for test and tune.

First run was 12.8S @ 115. Fine. Fluke, getting used to the car, and first ever pass on the tires. Bogging like hell, but the prep was minimal, with even procars struggling on the '60.
- A few runs between were very similar but shaving tenths. Having owned many coyotes, I noticed at the second run...the car was pulling strong, but felt like...well just a regular coyote. Felt like there was no boost.
- So checked, and the bypass seemed to be working fine at idle, and was closing at high tip in as you would expect?
- So I dropped the 555R2's to about 18 psi, and went back up to run a bone stock S650 GT. She had just bought her car, and we chatted. Ran against her (Timeslip 333 vs 97 (me)). Ran a nearly IDENTICAL run to a bone stock GT, she was actually pulling on me into the 8th. 12.42 @ 117 | 12.44 @ 115.

- Final run and I logged this for tuner, as at this point every run was making stock GT numbers but best of the night (if you want to call it that...) 12.27 @ 116.7.

Are there any things I can check while I wait, or any common things with the TVS2650s? It FEELS like the bypass is just stuck at open, but when I have the wife throttle, it's closing as it should. What else in the VMP system could cause? I've been looking but seems most the info I can find is regarding other systems, centri or Whipple.

Thanks!

Do you have a way to log Load while driving?

Or you can enable the boost gauge in the dash, so a search.

I agree something is wrong.

So I did do a log, but I haven't found a way with the Avid tuner to be able to view my own logs. I've messed around quite a bit with it, and only allows (it seems) to be able to send log to tuner. The log has been sent, just waiting on a response. Figured I'd ask and see if there's some easy check offs to look at first.

I'm still waiting for my boost gauge to come in.

If you have Forscan, you can enable the factory boost gauge. It is not super accurate, but it would let you know if you are in the ball park.

What is your pulley combination?
What injectors do you have?
What supercharger belt are you running?
Are you on pump 93 gas, race fuel, or E85 pump?
Was this car dyno’ed? If so, what did it make?

Please take a picture of your setup where we can see what you got going on there.

I have personally had 2 Odin Supercharged Mach 1’s. One 706rwhp and another currently over 900rwhp.

Yeah, I’m using the factory setup and it neat but not sure how accurate it is.

All Stock Odin gear.
3.5 pulley, with stock belt (but new. just replaced) and the new tensioner. I believe the kit comes with 1000's? I didn't do the install. It's on 93.

I haven't had it on a dyno personally, the car is new to me. Only thing I do have is time slips and runs against a bone stock GT, where I have identical times. Also would love to note, I've owned 11 S550s, definitely not new to the Coyote or the dragstrip, and the car quite literally feels like a tuned NA car.

Also tuner replied back everything is normal, and looks good. 😑

Your tuner should be able to tell you how much boost the supercharger is seeing with all the values from the data logs… Ask him.

FIC1000 injector generally come with the kit.

Do you have headers, factory cats, ect?

I thought the same, but he says everything looks great, the timeslip is completely normal.

My '20 E85 NA MT82 car on a much worse tire runs a better time than my VMP Odin Mach 1. 11.8 vs 12.2.

Factory Cats, x pipe.

My ESS G2(small blower) on a 120mm pulley with low base timing for crappy 93 gas in the area trapped at 128mph. Something is way off!

Trying to get a follow up from my tuner, I know it's definitely off. I have an NA car running better times than my blower car. The car pulls like an NA car.

Just switched to this tuner, after a nearly unanimous list of suggestions to go to him.

From my notes of the first Odin car.

3.5 = 88mm in supercharger pulley for 11-12psi
With headers and no cats with a Lund Pump 93 tune, the car ran 10.3-.2 in the quarter mile on ETStreets R full weight.

It is rarely the tuner. You get basically the same tune hundreds of other people have.

The issue usually needs up being in the install or communication of the wrong parts etc

Trapping in the 1-teens indicates a big problem. Fuel, timing, temps, massive vaccum leak, clogged cat who knows

Looking at your times, with good track prep, a 1.8 60 foot should be achievable with stock converter with 3.55 ratio on a 10sp Gen 3 Coyote.

Unfortunately, we don't get good prep on test and tune nights lol. The pro cars with radials were posting some atrocious times as well.

Absolutely understand the 60, it just comes with the territory at the strip with our unsanctioned events. Also, Tremec, not A10 for me. I'm not expecting a 10 flat on a bad TNT friday. But definitely not expecting to be pulled on from a stock GT on stock pirellis.
