I can only imagine these with a res delete and headers being ungodly loud 😂. With the stock resonator on there, it's just a SMIDGE louder than my stock headers + Hpipe + borla stypes. It's tame around town and cruising. WOT is a different story haha, but still not blow out your eardrums like...
Just switched over to Steeda's and absolutely love them. LTH, stock resonator and Steeda AB. Sounds amazing, and the resonator tames it just enough that it isn't insane. Very livable in town, whereas my LTH+Hpipe+Borla Stypes we're absolutely unbearable in how loud they were. To me, perfect...
Just a quick update incase anyone comes across it.
SW headers, stock resonator, and steeda axleback sounds absolutely amazing. a phenomenal middle ground, that's quite controllable. Very streetable setup, but incredibly loud WOT.
Stock catback for me is just far too quiet and "airy" sounding.
I actually just purchased the steeda axleback. Going to try running that with the stock resonator.
Thanks! Roush was definitely one I was looking at. Have no issue with loud WOT, just wanted to get away from the cruising sounding like I want to race the entire world. Pulling from a stop light was absolutely miserable and quite frankly embarrassing it was so loud.
Hello all. To preface The car is a 2020 GT with SW headers. I was running headers, H-Pipe and Borla S-Types. Ended up swapping with a buddy back to the stock catback because of how loud the S-Types were. I keep reading here how the S-Types with headers are more mild than other setups on headers...
Myself and another firehawk guy tried to run with track, and posted much slower times. I think my fastest in track was 12.5, meanwhile even with the spin I was pulling 11 seconds in drag.
Thanks! Was my first time ever on a track. A lot of 12.0's as I was battling traction issues pretty badly, off the line and solid quarter second slips on the 1-2. Need to get off a street tire :)
As someone who went to the A10, from an M6, and have an A8 from Dodge...I just can't get on board with the A10. It's incredibly quick in a straight line, but in many other aspects I feel it just lacks. Constantly doesn't where it wants to go, tries to shift up and down at the same time (Scary as...
I'm running S-types with an H-pipe and I can kind of relate. I don't mind so much right off the line. Mine just drives me nuts while it's hunting, and sounds like I have absolutely no idea what gear I want to be in when cruising. It's a constant ear piercing to quiet to ear piercing and so on...
