Suppose to receive my Quick Jack tomorrow. Any advice from those of you using this Jack? Use, setup or maintenance experience? Thanks!

Follow the instructions carefully and make sure not to use the thread sealant liquid as some have mention it leaks. I believe QJ changed from tape thread sealant to liquid since some people were using the tape incorrectly and it would end up clogging the system. I suggest you take your time and do the threads correctly with tape. I did mine almost 2 years ago and it works flawlessly - 0 leaks.

1. Dont forget to always add air to your cylinders to the suggested 50psi before use
2. Dont forget to loosen the bleeder valve during use, its easy to forget ( I collapsed my tank once and its dented but it works fine lol).
3. Mark with marker where the rubber blocks go so you can place them easier next time.

Congrats on the purchase! QJ's are by far my favorite tool purchase ever. I agree with the thread sealant.

When lowering, make sure the jacks go down to the lowest level before detaching the hoses. Triple check the rubber blocks before lifting the car.

Mine are never put up or unhooked. I push the jacks to the center and under of the car and position the hoses such that I don't run over them. I use them so much it doesn't make sense to put them up.

I have had mine for over 6 years now and love it. zero issues with it. I store under my car so I did add some roller bearings to make them very easy to move around. Best tool in my garage by far.

Super easy to use but just a quick tip. When you lift the car and pass a locking position make sure it clears BOTH sides before lowering back down on the stop. If you see it pass one side don't assume the other side passed it as well. If for some reason only one side clears it and you try to lower the car on to the stop, it will start to lean on one side.

All great advice mentioned above on set-up and use, not sure I can add anything there. I did buy the zl1 addons pinch weld lift pads and set up my QJ pads so there wasn’t any guess work where the jacks went. Also some people have added a roller ball bearing so the jacks roll easy on the floor, plenty of YT videos on that. I have an epoxy type flooring so I added vinyl strips to the bottom of mine so I could slide them around

Thanks for the info! Mine comes with Jack pads. What makes the Zl 1 pads better? Where did you buy them?

What you see in my QJ picture are the QJ pads, the zl1 lift pads attach to the pinch welds on the car at the lifting points seen in this picture. I bought mine directly from zl1 addons
EDIT: mine may not be at the exact suggested lifting points recommended by FORD

I'm currently using my QJ 7000TL to keep my viper away from mice over the winter (I assume it will anyway, maybe they could possibly climb up the structure of the QJ, I don't know)

The jacking points on the viper are angle iron welded to the chassis and they make a "V" where they meet the QJ lifting blocks, they actually dig quite far into the rubber so I bought a set of cheap pinch weld blocks from Amazon but I think I'll need to put them over top of the QJ pads as they are quite thin.

In any event, so far I'm loving the quick jacks for maintenance purposes during the driving season and for winter storage.

Here is my method.

I also added the roller balls under the frames. It was tricky to find the perfect locations for them. Too far up the angled frame and the lift still drags on the floor. Too low on the frame could cause clearance issues when positioning under your car.

If you don't have jacking rails then I would advise you to get a set of zl1 pinch weld pucks. The provided rubber pads from quick jack put a load onto the plastic body panel. Probably ok until it's not.

If you have an issue with clearance or find it's tight, you can always park your car on rubber mats. I also use jack stands for extra "insurance" if I'm going to be working under the car.

Nice, I have been wanting these but I have the Steeda Jacking rails. Would this make it easier I wonder. The jacking rails sometimes makes it a little more difficult to place the pads correctly.
