I install a kit from BGR. It comes with a park brake and all the hardware. I have driven about 1k with them and cant find any fault, other then the bolts that held tye bracket and park brake caliper stretched to much and would hold their orig torque. So I replaced all of them with grade 8 bolts...
I converted a Roush dual stage exhaust to an active system that is operated by a toggle switch. Here is the 1st step video. The rest are located on my youtube channel
I must add that with the Roush exhaust with the OEM resonator valve closed it is about the same as the OEM non active exhaust...
The BBK is a 4 piston caliper with a 14" rotor . The park brake is a cable driven single piston. (great for a drift setup.) The electric park brake is easier to install with out modding anything IMO.
And last but not least of my last unusual mods . I had a rear caliper that was sticky. So I bought and installed a aftermarket rear big brake set up. and a gauge pod with Autometer gauges.
When I installed a Roush axle back exhaust with a Steeda x-pipe it was just too loud for my taste. it also had too much rasp. So I installed a set of bottle resonators which toned it down just enough. I also fab/installed a set of actuators to make it a active system.
Back when my car was more track then street. I built a diff cooler and put it in the spare tire well. a also wrapped my exhaust . Now that it is a 99% street car I moved it under the car.
I have used crossed drilled rotors for years. Never cracked a rotor til they were at or beyond their service limit, (and any rotor will crack as they get thin). The key to keeping crossed drill rotor living a long life is to use the cool down lap to cool the brakes down. I do my best not to...
I have a battery powered scissor sjack from Duralast. I have three stud extender to make removing the wheel and installing the wheel without hitting the top of the caliper. a 1/2" drive 19mm deep socket and 12" extension( these all fit inside the Duralast scissor jack case) and a low cost...
I do my own. Here is the process. I remove the fill level stick and record the fill reading. Then drain, remove the trans pan, remove and replaced the filter. Then install the old or in my case a PPE Alum pan with a drain plug ( And I installed a temp sensor into the provided port due to the...
