When you write "high damping struts", you mean the GT500/GT350RMR struts, right?

Without the Magneride, I agree. Almost all Mustangs have a little hop mode thing going on in the back. The Magneride does a really good job of calming that down in general, but I think that adding the HD struts improves the rear as much as it does the front. It just takes unwanted motion out of the entire system both when going fast or just on freeway rollers, but bump compliance is damned near the same. Besides the cost, there's just not much downside on this one.

The VDM is just kicking out an electrical current. It doesn't know if it's supplying a magnet around a big hole or a little hole.

100% and I have had them on my car for a couple years. You can ask Steeda as well, but they'll tell you the same.

I've actually thought this would be a good business opportunity. I think working with BWi to produce a 'sport' version of popular MR dampers is kind of a no-brainer for someone.

The cut rate Mr shocks the eco and gt wit pp1 and pp2 got are under damped. Yes it's a function of the software to an extent but also the actual hardware used in the m1/gt350r/gt500 builds. If you have a gt/eco then yes replacing the front dampers in particular is a decent return on investment.

based purely on part numbers, yes. Given the much higher weight of the GT500, I'm sure the programming on that one is different. And purely from a seat of the pants perspective, the Mach1 rides different from the PP1+MR and the plain GT350 of yore.

Part numbers kind of tell the story. I've never seen them advertise this. It makes sense why everyone likes the M1 handling, though.

it's not. The Bullitt rear dampers are quite "loose", no better than the early GT350 and PP1 and definitely not the same as the M1. The GT350R in 2020 got the 'tighter' dampers and possibly programming changes. The PP2 hardware is the same as the PP1/GT350 but had GT350 programming or something very similar, near as I can tell. Your PP1/Eco w/ MR when flashed with the FRPP module gets that PP2 tuning.

Oh okay, well it seems as if I made the right decision to replace mine with Vikings to suit my needs.
