Maybe a 275/35 and 285/35, or 275/35 or 40 square.

im not sure why you’d bother with a 9.5/10 stagger when there are so many good lightweight strong flow formed 10” square setups out there.
This. 19x10" square 285/35 with lightweight flow formed wheels is the way to go. I felt a lot of difference in handling compared to the OEM PP wheels which are quite heavy.

I like the style of the Ford Performance PP2 style wheels in black. I also figured the offsets were designed to work work with the existing suspension design of a Mustang.

EW, I'm about to go from the factory PP1 wheels of 9/9.5 to the Ford Performance 9.5/10 set up. Would you recommend I stay with the factory P255F/P275R/40R19 or would there be a more appropriate wider size to fill this new wheels? Weekend/daily fun car. Not track. I enjoyed the PP2 set up but the 10.5/11 with 305s was a little much on the daily. Maybe 305s on these narrower wheels?
Hi there Tony,

Like others have said, you could stay with 255/275 or go bigger to 265/285. The absolute biggest you could go would be 295 on the 10" but definitely not 305.

I would suggest SVE SP2 wheels. Look just like the factory PP2 wheels, they're flow formed so stronger and lighter than factory cast, and they can be had for pretty cheap during LMR's frequent deals. Those would be 19x10 +35 with a 285/35 all around

Well the good news is that SVE has a PP2 style wheel (SVE SP2)which is both lighter, stronger, and probably cheaper than the Ford Performance wheel, and it comes in the right offsets to run a 19x10 square setup.

I was just on the LMR website and then yours Nightmaremoon's replies came through. I see those. And thank you.

Nightmare, would that be a 40+mm all around?

Ewheels, that 285/35/19 is a nice recommendation. I see on the calculator it's almost the same height as the existing front 255/40s from the factory so front stance will remain and I'll get lower in the rear to level it a bit and MUCH wider. I think that's a good call. Thx

I'd suggest before you start touching anything in the suspension, first drive the car for an extended amount of time and get used to it first, before you throw parts at it. Sometimes we as enthusiast tend to throw parts at our cars before even getting to learn about our cars and learn their true capabilities. Aquiring skill to handle your car is free, but getting your car to handle for you is very expensive and most often it comes with down sides that you didn't want in the first place.

11" wide squared wheels and tires with sport cup 2's all around in December...what could possibly be the downside?.... (tramlines off into a ditch while texting and driving)

Leave the factory rims in place. No need to mess with that cars wheels and tires unless you're changing the tires to a same size less aggressive compound for the cooler weather.
