Trump indirectly admitted that we don't need a wall.

Reads like he stated that we don't want troops stationed along the entire length of the wall 24/7/365, right? The 'caravan' was a special case of mass, organized, funded incursion. A wall or fence around your home makes more sense than paying people to stand guard 24/7/365, unless you're quite rich. That along with a security system, cameras, a dog or dogs, and lethal and less-than-lethal options for when you're home.

The wall is a part of overall security along with other methods of finding and tracking those who choose to enter illegally.

As a Canadian who is intrigued by your politics, as ours is soooo boring, I think Trump is a total a...hole. BUT having said that I do think he loves his country (but himself more). He does want to make his country better and you cant blame him for that. you didn't have much of a choice when election day rolled around and I can see why voters thought he was to lesser of the two.

If we had a Prime Minister who had as much confidence (not correctness) as Trump, we would be better off too. if nothing else, Trump has changed politics forever, good or bad will only be determined by history.

I think his downfall, if there is one would be he shows no respect for anything or anyone.

But I can definitely understand why his base support him. If our PM put "Canada First", like Trump does for America, I would vote for him too...…at least once.
