I can't help but think that the current events in the US will mark the beginning of the end for teflon Trump. He is arguably already on the edge and his current behaviour regarding the protests and rioting may just be the tipping point for his support. Of course the far right will back him, but the centre ground that he needs is a very different thing. Blaming the extreme left for these events is completely missing the mood of the country, and the world. Yes, rent a mob will turn up as usual, but there are plenty of moderate people from all ethnic backgrounds peacefully on the streets, appalled about what they have seen. Dark days for the US and it's reputation.

Ha, not with Biden as the competition/option. For twice in a row now, the Dem party has picked probably the only 2 people out of 380 million Americans that cannot beat Trump in an election. The most hated woman in America, hands down, and Biden who can't remember what office he is running for. Obviously you are getting bad information over there. He very clearly supported peaceful protests and condemned the killing of Floyd. He also clearly and accurately blamed the violence and looting on the extreme left. His threat to use US troops to stop the violence worked. Huge decrease in unemployment reported today, and the worst of the covid crisis is behind us. It only gets better for Trump and worse for Biden from here.

Which, like everything out of his mouth was a lie. FBI cannot confirm any large scale involvement by Antifa or any other ultra left wing group. But who else is he going to blame?

Wishful negative thinking re: covid, worst case scenario a second wave hits early next year with flu season. But if we have a vaccine by then, which is now very possible thanks to Trump's operation warp speed, it will be very minor.
