Sure enough...had mine on the lift yesterday and found the same thing. I looked all over the transmission and couldn't find a similar marking. I guess it's not matched to the vehicle like the engine is.

Mine as well. I always get a loaner, Likely the dealer, nothing to do with Ford.
But I am curious, what would the average service cost be at Ford,
Compared to Audi or BMW?
I suspect a fair bit more for even a simple oil change.
Nothing for a BMW. All service related maintenance, like oil changes, brakes, wipers, fluids are covered under the initial warranty. BMW will provide an equivalent loaner at request. I don't consider the GT350 a "premium" car, more of a specialty vehicle. I wouldn't expect a loaner for routine maintenance or small issues. I would hope the dealer would make some type of arrangement for an engine or transmission failure of a brand new car.

Until 2017. BMW is changing maintenance next year down to 3 years and will no longer cover items like Brakes, Clutches, etc. One of the other reasons I'm going GT350 over M4 Comp.

I like to disassemble things.

TR3160's have a sticker on the side of the transmission as well as an aluminum tag.

Maybe their lawyer told him to take it down??
I wonder why it was deleted as well.
Maybe he is trying to get Ford to give him a new car instead of replacing the engine.

Funny you mentionned that as i was also looking for Hizzlibullet thread as to ask him for an update.

I'm thinking Ford must have found something seriously wrong with his engine to have the thread deleted .

Goes without saying that we mostly will not hear back from the OP .

If that's true, then not only shame on Ford, but also shame on Hizli or the moderator who deleted it. Last I checked, this forum is not financed in any way by Ford, so there is zero reason to keep a valid discussion like that muzzled. Ford would have given him a new engine (or car) anyway.

Agreed, this is a privately run site, I cant see Ford stepping in. A lot of blown engine threads devolve into shit slinging threads with blame placed on the OP and/or other wild speculation.
