Not sure how you gather that. I think it would be the opposite.
To me a Miata, S2000, M3, GT350, etc.. are the same type of "Drivers Car" people.
*shrug*
As someone who has owned 4 E92 M3s (which I consider a baby S550 at this point; High revving V8 but only 420hp) I think the "special" factor of cars like an M3 or GT350 is the most overrated factor of a car. Sure the M3s were great at 8400rpm but how often can you wind it out on the street...
Right now I'm looking at a local Kona Blue A10 GT Premium PP1, Recaros, Active Exhaust, 401A.. They are at 18% off without negotiation and I was going to shoot for 20% off then take the 0% financing.
My question is should I be shooting for even more than 20% off? This dealer has 4 similar...
So after the dealer who would supposedly give me a good deal on a GT PP2 is now playing games and not providing the discount they stated I've decided to just go 18 GT350. The hung begins..
Dude - my first words were obviously "I dont keep up with Mustang changes". So "clearly explained" or not I didn't see it.
RE: BMW You're just wrong. I've owned a 08, 11, 13, 15, 16, and 18 M3. So I think I have some perspective.
I dont follow Mustang updates closely but why would you facelift in 2021 just to do a redesign in 2022? Are they just trying to ruin their clients resale value? :)
I can buy a brand new 2019 PP2 right now for $41,500 at my local dealer with an MSRP of $51,940. Add 7k for a Whipple. So you're right.. but its close to what a 18 GT350 costs.
This isn't always the case with any vehicle. Take E92 M3s for example. 2011 seems to be the money year as in 2012-2013 they used some cheaper interior parts etc for the end of the run.
