  7. 4.56 Gears and QA1 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Nope, still on the 4.56. If time/money were no object, I'd give it a shot, but ultimately I don't think 4.10s would be enough of a change to notice. @JohnVallo mentioned this in his writeups also. I always thought a 4.30 gear would be a sweet spot, but at that ratio, you're just a couple of...
  8. Just ordered Antigravity Lithium Battery

Installed my ATX-20HD this afternoon, did the BMS reset in Forscan, and currently waiting for the 8 hour relearn. Can’t drive the car anyway since it’s been raining for a month it seems.
  9. 4.56 Gears and QA1 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Reviving this thread to note that I did resolve the shifting issues by changing the reported gear ratio in the BCM and the PCM (BCM only didn't fix it), which solved the shifting flare issue altogether. This does require a custom tune, however (I have HP Tuners and am long since out of...
  10. 4.56 Gears and QA1 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Today, I finally finished a project that has been nearly seven years in the making. I ordered my GT350 in September 2015, and before I even drove the car, one of the first mods I considered was to match the 8250 redline with a 4.56 gear. Since no one made any aftermarket gears for the Super...
  11. Indiana 3.73 gears trade for 3.31or 3.55

I've got a set of 3.31s, but I have no need of a trade. Would sell outright if you're interested. Can send pics. PM me.
  12. Differential Bolts

I found another thread that reported the inside diameter of the stock bushing is 17.3mm. I believe I'm going to simply drill and tap the ears of the diff to fit an M16-20 bolt. If anyone has one laying around, would you mind measuring the length of the factory rear diff bolt (under head to tip)...
  13. Differential Bolts

Thanks for that info! If the bolt hole in the bushing is 16mm, that leaves me wondering why I couldn't just drill and tap the diff cover mounting holes for a 16mm bolt same length as stock. That would be as strong if not stronger than a 9/16 through bolt, and I wouldn't have to worry about the...
  14. Differential Bolts

Yep, that's a nice kit (it better be for >$100!), but I'm running stock bushings with no inserts or lockouts. I don't mind drilling out the front bushings since I'm going to have the diff out of the car anyway, and I'm going to use a 9/16"-18 through bolt as described in this post...
  15. Differential Bolts

I'm replacing my 3.73 rear gear with a 4.56 unit I built, and while the diff is out of the car, I want to do some upgrades. I'm planning to drill the threads out of the front diff bushings and use 9/16-18 4 1/2" grade 8 bolts for a bolt-through connection. I want to do the same on the rear...
  16. Rear Deck Speaker Enclosure

Thanks for your reply and ideas. The free-air speakers aren't bad. But I miss the tight bass that you get from an enclosure, and I just wondered if anyone had heard of one that connected directly to the rear deck frame.
  17. Rear Deck Speaker Enclosure

I installed some free air 10s in the rear deck, and while they added a lot to the existing factory system, they're not ideal for tight, controlled bass. I can live with them, but I just wondered if anyone had seen or considered an enclosure that fits under the rear deck with woofers firing up...
  18. Gear Change from: 4.11 (Rear Gear) to: 4.56 in my GT350

I would be interested in that 4.56 unit if you decide to sell it.
  19. Arkansas WTB: OEM Carpet Floor Mats

If you've bought a new Mustang and want to upgrade your floor mats to aftermarkets, please shoot me a price on what you would take for your factory mats shipped to 72032. I would prefer something from a Premium GT with the silver stitching around the edge, but not absolutely required. Also...
