Exactly, there are quite a few being driven hard out there without real issues.
I'm thinking it's a contamination issue, not an engine issue. Just need to make sure you get a quick oil change and filter change. At least that's what I'm going to do.

I too drive mine like I stole it. Did my first oil change at 1000 miles. The Ford Performance Racing School and the Track Tour programs beat their cars all day and have had no problems. The car I thrashed at the Track Attack only had 400 miles on it.
