  1. SPL adjustable LCA and tension rod install

100% this. SPL should have immediately stopped selling the part until a metallurgist has professionally examined the failed parts along with some new, uninstalled parts. Someone is going to get killed, including the company as the result of numerous lawsuits. I don't say this lightly. For now...
  2. Best Brake for street/Tracks

    Stock.
  3. The "how to disable the data link to Ford" thread

The sub/box aren't that heavy. I changed my sub last fall to one that was substantially heavier due to the massive magnet.
  4. Signature Wheel’s GT500 Adventures

Don't know why Greg would put an aftermarket wing/uprights on a Heritage unless his was not originally a CFTP Heritage. Even at that, gack on the wing/upright choice...
  5. Signature Wheel’s GT500 Adventures

The non-factory uprights...note the base section on it. The sides go almost straight up as opposed to having some slope such as the OEM piece. The triangular cutouts on the non-OEM are almost square whereas the OEM uprights have a radius on them. The finish is almost satin but on the OEM it is...
  6. Jmeo's 2020 Shelby American GT500 SE Wide Body Build (+ "Phase 2")

Wow Jaime, you DO look just like your dad. Uncanny.
  7. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

I was going to say something similar. In addition, across the forum spectrum, including Facebook (gack!) if you will, it is clear that Voodoo engines are failing in fairly significant numbers. Predator engines are not.
  8. Signature Wheel’s GT500 Adventures

If Clint touched that car it has to be clean AF. But I have to inquire...those uprights aren't OEM and the wing has bolt on sides. Is that a painted Base car with an aftermarket wing and not a Heritage?
  9. Car started SMOKING, then bucking a little, now wrench light...

I inquired this afternoon. As of today, 4/09/2024, Ford dealer list price for a 2020-2022 GT500 DCT is $12,664. I didn't ask about a core charge but I'm pretty sure there's that to consider as well.
  10. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

I inquired today regarding replacement engine availability from Ford. KR3Z-6006-B GT350 engine 44 on backorder NR3Z-6006-B GT500 engine 2 on backorder So the issue hasn't gotten any better with the GT350. Nor any worse for the GT500.
  11. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

I would argue that the base price on that sticker is $72,900. There is no getting around the US government's mandated GG fee.
  12. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

On what planet were S550 GT500's stickered for 60k?
  13. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

That's an improvement over the beginning of March when there were 40 GT350 engines on backorder which was an improvement over a number near double that a short time prior.
  14. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

They better tighten up those values then.
  15. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

The last GT500 was pretty rough at high rpm and trying to shift the TR6060 manual. The 2020 and later would have been retarded. I'd bet the farm you've never driven a DCT equipped GT500 at the track...
  16. Alignment w/Handling Pack

Why would that be different than any other '20-'22 GT500?
  17. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

2020 here and had no issues.
  18. Why more GT500's for sale than 350’s or Mach 1’s?

It's 2024 and Shelby's, the Mach 1, and the Boss are buried, all the while possibly being on stand-by. So for now the Dark Horse carries the torch. Definitely creates a unique shadow. I'm a huge fan of the dual throttle body and TR3160 tranny (no pun intended) as well as the fact that GM and...
  19. It’s finally time GT500 KR (update: being built)

Will do. No. I got my '20 GT500 from them and at MSRP when everybody was getting the prison rape treatment. I flew there from NY, they picked me up at the airport, and I drove it 16 hrs straight back home in January of 2020. It was 28* out, I hauled ass, and there were definitely some pucker...
  20. It’s finally time GT500 KR (update: being built)

Things are going well now on the production side (not talking about any EV's) and I haven't seen any unexpected constraints pop up so it'll all come down to build week and whether or not there is any kind of train debacle. I hope to be driving it across the country by mid June if all goes well...
