Try the jubilees first. Put two on. One at each end ( 1/4 from each end ).
I think that might do the trick for you.
get them nice and tight with a socket wrench.
I think they will remove that vibration noise.

Thought about this. Or exhaust wrap. But would only be a temporary bandaid. If they don't warranty it then I guess I'm going to have to do more to show them that it's not right. No way they can say thats how it's supposed to sound over a phone clip. In person it's just bad.
Yep
I’ve got the metallic UFO sound as well now.
it hits at about 2.5-3000rpms on light acceleration.
Just emailed pony parts….
Wondered if you had any luck with the jubilee clips or something similar???

Im working on having a warranty replacement but after hearing this doesnt have me optimistic. maybe there is a reason for the price drop.
I dont think a jubilee is going to work although in therory it should. i think all the tension will be placed on the outter edges of the suitcase and be loose fitting against the belly and top of the suitcase causing even more vibration.
However mine vibrates all the time. the higher the speed the louder it gets. i can here the resonance in my damn sleep.

I’m going to try something…….
Not overly happy by the sound and can definitely feel the power being suffocated with this on.

so I have an old steeda H-pipe that I removed because it was too noisy for me. I’m going to get two 12” bottle resonators welded in just below the H. Hopefully it will muffle the rasp a bit.

alternatively I could purchase a Magnaflow tru x suitcase resonator and fit in the same place as bottle resonators. Not sure which would be better ?.

only issue I can see is the tru x is 4” between the centre of each pipe and the steeda and others are 4.5”.
Is their enough wiggle room with the exhaust to fit to 4”.

I mean the distance between the centre of each hole on the tru x is 4”
Steeda is 4.5””

Very weird. I came from the steeda h also, but I feel just the opposite lol. I feel way more power down low and feel like I accerate quicker with more torque at part throttle with the accelatec. I almost went went with the bottle resonators also.
Look into aero exhaust. They make a 6.5 inch ones that can probably fit right before or after the axle

Mine started that weird sound at lower rpms. Going to change it out. C&L H pipe & 2 12" Cherry Bomb glasspacks as resonaters going in soon.

YIKES!, I wouldn't run that on any performance engine.

I had the Switchfire. To much rasp with LT's.
Just doing a resonator delete with stock exhaust.
didn’t like the H pipe sounded too raw and choppy for my liking.
if the switchfire gets too raspy I’ll pop some vibrants in.

It's a piece of straight trash. I got a second one and it doesn't vibrate as bad but it's still the most pronounced sound and all speeds, and the I have exhaust wrap on it. Sounds like an old infinity g35 coupe at wot. The only positive I got out of it is that it does feel like I have more torque and a quicker, smoother acceleration at part throttle.
Probably go back to my steeda h pipe with 2 bottle style resonators. Like yall. A waste of money
