Didn't get car back yet. Shop had to get some terminals for new digital boost gauge. Been there since Monday. Ugg. Lol.

Got her back. Super quiet in cabin. Can't tell it has longtubes & no cats. Just supercharger whistle & Corsa. Super Sleeper.

Used the Magnaflow muffler with dual inlet and outlets that CJ Pony parts used to use, in place of the resonator, fabbed up pipes from a defective x pipe and installed. Smoother tone, quieter than stock at cruise, less raspy, sounds more like the way Ford V8's used to sound. Pleased. This has 2.5 inch inlet and outlets and 3 inch inner perforated x-pipe with fiberglass packing. Was looking for something quieter at cruise

Got the Accelatec today. It looks exactly like the Gibson design with chamfered pipes in an X configuration inside an empty (no fiberglass) muffler like casing. The chamfers open towards the inlet side. In some ways, probably is more restrictive than stock resonator, but does give a very non restrictive way for one side to cross to the other. Here are some picks comparing the length to a Steeda H-pipe and from the inside using a scope. Still on the fence about cutting the stock resonator.

did you not have the steeda h pipe installed to begin with ?.
I have the steeda H pipe already installed and assumed I could just remove and add this resonator without any additional cutting ?.
is that the case ?.

Had the H pipe laying around from another car. Steeda uses band claps, but Accelatec doesn't. The half that the band clamp covered, will just slide into the expanded section. Should fit without any extra cutting.

Does yours have a weird harmonic vibration sound coming from the suitcase? I just installed mine and it sounds like absolute dog sh/t. It's not drone, sounds more like the suitcase is completely hollow

No. Just a whoosh sound. Gotten lots of compliments on sound

Like a metallic howling type sound? This is what I had on mine with otherwise stock system. It is all hollow with perforated piping inside after all. Brought more sound closer to the cabin.
