Ah ok you’re absolutely fine then.
So what you’re feeling is the ford stock tune 1000%
they do it to make sure their is no unburnt fuel in the engine.
that’s why you feel the harder engine braking as well.
apparently ford have done it for emissions reasons and we feel it a lot more in our euro...
Ok this is weird….
I too have a 2020 Bullitt and notice the exactly same thing.
Reinstalled the stock muffler and it sounds really muffled and quiet.
it must be in our heads surely ??
Ive got these symptoms too since new.
Could drive the car for 2 hours and it feels ok but kinda lumpy and doesnt pull hard.
i could leave it for an hour and suddenly its like it has 200hp more and engine is as smooth as silk.
its so hard to diagnose because its so intermittent.
I have been...
I get a long rattle for 30 seconds when it cold starts then stops and the rpm’s come down.
I do get a chirping sound but I think that may be the HPFP ?
This is very strange.
I too believe I have a VVT problem that is intermittent.
I could be driving for a couple of hours and the car seem well just off. Not pulling as hard and a rougher exhaust note.
only to stop the car for 30 mins and go again and it’s smooth as silk and pulls hard too.
Hi
I have had a problem with my car for a while now. It’s very strange i could be driving the car from cold for two hours and it’s running ok but it feels like it missing something power wise.
only to stop and switch of the car for 30 mins come back and it’s like a different car. Really...
Not because of the H pipe but i have had this since day one of ownership.
one day will feel a bit off or sluggish and the next day it’s super smooth and pulls hard. I’ve never been able to locate the reasons to it, so it’s a 50/50 each time I start the car if it runs great or just ok
If you have active exhaust just tune them to close whenever your foot is off the gas pedal. That’s what I did and it’s perfect now. I didn’t like the boomy decel noise either.
Don’t use the steeda pipe if you want to return to stock in the future though.
You won’t be able to simple clamp the resonator back on as it will need to be welded.
The cut is right on a bend and a clamp won’t seal
I purchased a longer h pipe for this reason it can easily be changed around
If the video is your valves they are absolutely fine…
They all sound like. You won’t need to remove the actuators.
I would just spray some wd40 inside the valve where the pins meet at the top and bottom of the valve. Obviously don’t start the car straight away.
but honestly your exhaust sounds...
Yeh
reason I asked is because I have an old mbrp h pipe from a catback I had installed and it’s 3inch and I also still have the steeda 2.5 inch h pipe as well.
just wondered which to install with the factory and exhaust mufflers.
