I feel like this is one of those ā€œspot the differencesā€ things my kids like

1. Rims
2. Jack and tools on floor
3. The plastic tank with warning label on the left side of the pic

Yesterday, washed the mustang for the first time since relocating to Florida. It was filthy, but the new job has not left me much time at all. Actually was wash, clay bar, wash again. First time using a clay bar, came out really nice.

Little things, but they keep me happy … lol

First set I’ve found with flags on that actually screw on properly and cover all the brass (excuse the dirty wheel) :

I’m not sure why we get our euro wiring looms undersealed, but after getting the new diff cover etc the temp sensor loom was letting things down :

So I neatened up the wrapping and cleaned the exposed wires back to their original colour :

Was able to install the hood struts today. Such a nice look getting rid of the hood prop.

Do you have to remove the passenger strut to remove your battery?

Just did this.. 😁
Coming from a Roush 2 (and going back next month) today I noticed some sluggishness while accelerating from 2nd gear to 3rd gear, or downshifting from 4 to 3. My former GT prior to the Roush install didn't do that. It happened at least twice this afternoon during a scenic ride along the ocean. For new users, I removed the carbon filter inside the airbox (Models 2022 and up).
So, tomorrow I will do the drive again and report back and hopefully the car is more snappy.
Replying to my own junk. Ok, drove it today, it's good now. No choke. Is it related to the removal of the filter? Maybe. Weather, temperature and time are the same as yesterday.

Got my issue with my active exhaust not working figured out, the fuse had popped at some point, I checked it before I replaced the wire harness and swear it was ok.. oh well, I’m glad it’s working again.

So after that I was in the mood, so I started my ESS G3 install.. didn’t get that deep into it but got a decent start… got the bumper off, active grill shutters off, stock intake off, got my 170* thermostat in and my new coolant overflow tank in and called it a day.. I will pickup tomorrow where I left off.

Took advantage of the 50 degree weather and gave her a bath. Thunderstorm rolled in before I could get some pics šŸ™

At the moment, yes. But I’m planning on cutting the cover from the hole I drilled in it to the edge so that I can just slide it on and off in the future.

6 inches of snow to 50’s with rain and thunderstorms. Gotta love Chicago weather. šŸ˜‚
LOL right! The snow here ended up being a big nothing thank goodness and even better they didn’t put any salt down.
